"Sannie, it's time to meet my parents," Jiho called from the living room. She was currently at one of San's many apartments; he would call this one home rather than any other, since this place is where he would most likely sleep compared to the others. However, it wasn't unusual he decided to stay at other houses for the night, or even more.

"Got it, Jiho. Would you just give me a moment?" She heard his strained voice struggle from the room.

"Do you need any help?" She said as she made her way to the room, and found San stood by the mirror, struggling with his tie. She chuckled at the sight, "seems like you do."

San looked back to her and scoffed, "I do not. I know how to make a tie," he shooed her with his hand, but she did anything but go away. Instead, she stepped forward, and took the tie from his hands, and smiled while she started redoing it. San stared at her with bored eyes until she was done. "Thanks," he said, attempting at making his voice sound sweeter, but failing nonetheless.

Jiho, whom didn't seem to notice his inner turmoil, just smiled up at him. They stayed there, simply looking into the other's eyes, each lost in their own world. Jiho knew she was there physically, but her mind was somewhere else; somewhere she'd rather be.

Knowing that San was in front of her, then why was she imagining Wooyoung in his place? She shook it off, attempting at getting a grip on herself; San is not Wooyoung. But oh, how she missed him, it was too late now though. The wedding was due in 3 weeks, and she had no choice but to obey.

San, however, was only imagining his future with Jiho. He knew they were never going to fall in with each other. Her heart was set on somebody else, and he knew that. It wasn't hard to tell, in fact, it was so obvious, he felt satisfied with watching her swim in her own regret, wishing she would've spoken earlier.

He found fun in other people's torture, not unless they were the people he cared about. If anyone did no more than touch someone he cared about negatively, he'd go on a full on rage, and break a couple bones; mercilessly. He was always known as the brother with anger issues in his household, but the family was good at hiding it, that no one seemed to notice. He wasn't always this cruel, just maybe life toughened him up, I guess.

He cared about so little people, he was deemed heartless. When he could only name people that would make up the fingers on one hand, everyone knew he was conservative of his secrets and whatnots. The only reason he agreed to this marriage was so he could finally take over Jiho's father's company. It wasn't grand by any means, it was just that they had the substance his company was looking for, and he would go beyond his limits to make sure he was on top.

After an awkward amount of staring — not really looking at one another, rather lost in their own thoughts — it would've seemed to any outside person, that they were so infatuated by one another, they couldn't keep their eyes off the other, but that was anything but the truth. They eventually cut eye contact, and detached themselves from each other.

"Let's go?" San cleared his throat, allowing him a clear sentence. Jiho simply nodded, too embarrassed that she was thinking of another man, while San seemed to be the perfect person, and the way he was looking into her eyes made her believe that. So, without further talk, they both made their way out the door.

San wiped his palms on his jeans, getting quite nervous. Because if he succeeded in winning the parents over, his plan would be full proof from there. Jiho assumed he was worried they wouldn't like him, so she decided to comfort him.
