After their trip, it seemed San was determined to make Wooyoung feel like the most special boy in the world. He took him out to places he's never even dreamed of going, yet even the simplest of dates were well spent. Whether it be going to the mall to shop for some things, San always managed to make it worth it. Usually he would sneak away and get Wooyoung a gift from the jewelry place while the younger was busy choosing which laundry detergent to buy. It always ended with him in shock and full of gratitude.
Other times, San would go all out, book an enter venue just for them to enjoy some violins playing under a projected sky of stars. He'd hire people to walk in a line, each providing Wooyoung a single flower until he ended up with a full bouquet, San at the end of the line, handing him a silver bracelet with their initials engraved into the metal. Wooyoung felt unworthy of all the spoiling, wishing he could do at least half of what San does for him. The older always reminded him that he wanted to do this for him, and that Wooyoung didn't have to return the sentiment since just seeing Wooyoung smile and wear the gifts he brought was enough. His words alone was enough to bring tears to his eyes, and he never thought he'd be able to experience such bliss and luxury.
Now, Wooyoung was getting used to waking up in San's arms, the older not leaving for work until he got his way with Wooyoung, and spending his nights cuddled up into him. It was no lie that the younger was glowing, and his best friend Yeosang was sure to mention it.
"Bitch, look at you! Got that after sex glow," he exclaimed on the other end of the phone. They were on FaceTime since Yeosang said he had something to announce.
"Oh, stop it! You're glowing too! Is Europe treating you that good?" he pouted.
Yeosang laughed, shaking his head, "oh, I'm just so happy I got away from my boss before I turned into a criminal." Wooyoung laughed at the serious tone his best friend held, making the older smile triumphantly, "but I did have some things I wanted to tell you, and I thought you should know first."
"Best friend privileges, of course," Wooyoung said, making the other roll his eyes playfully.
"Yeah, whatever, okay. Anyways, I'm coming back on Monday..." Wooyoung cut him off with an excited squeal that Yeosang couldn't help but chuckle at. "I wasn't done, Woo..."
"More?" he eagerly asked.
Yeosang ignored him and continued talking, "I'm coming back Monday... and I won't be alone..."
He waited a few seconds for a reaction, instead witnessing a silent Wooyoung. That was unusual, but luckily he didnt have to wait long since the fog on the younger's brain cleared up, "is that why you've been glowing??? Bitch, omg when will we meet him?"
Yeosang giggled, "when we land."
"Tell me about him!! Is he cute? Hot? Sexy?"
"All three check out," he shyly replies.
"Drop the name, now."
"Jeongin."
"Wait. He's Korean?" He asked in shock.
"Didn't I fucking score?" He said excitedly. Wooyoung had no time to reply as the door opened, and in walked San. His hair was tousled and his sleeves were raised, and Wooyoung's eyes dilated at the sight. He heard a snort coming from the phone as he was sure Yeosang caught him stripping his boyfriend with his eyes through the camera, but he didn't mind.
When San tucked his shoes by the entrance and turned around, he greeted Wooyoung with a smile before he noticed the younger's gaze. A light smirk tugged at his lips as he approached his boyfriend, whispering lowly in his ear, "hello, darling."
Wooyoung swallowed the lump in his throat at the close proximity and suddenly all that confidence he was building up was gone. Instead he tries to divert San's attention away, "uh, baby, could you grab me that pen?"
San's eyes shift to the other side of the counter he was leaning against, a ghost of a smile still there. "I would," he leans down closer to a smiling Wooyoung, planting a soft kiss to his nose, adding, "but I won't."
The dazed smile on Wooyoung's face dropped as he registered what was said, smacking San's neck with his sweater paw. The older chuckled leaning down to capture his lips in a lingering kiss before he pulled away and turned his face. Wooyoung, chasing after his lips, ended up kissing his cheek as he heard san go, "hey, Yeosang. Fancy seeing you here," he says calmly.
Yeosang greets just as calmly before they both watch san excuse himself to his room, Yeosang then snorts at Wooyoung, mumbling, "man, you're whipped." Then a voice behind Yeosang called making him turn swiftly to the honey sweet voice, "coming!"
It was Wooyoung's turn to laugh, "like you're any better."
Yeosang maturely sticks out his tongue, before stating, "have fun at your date," before hanging up.
It was true, Wooyoung and San had a date planned, so when Wooyoung went to check up on San he was shocked to see him sprawled on the bed, "Sannie?"
He peeked up at the sound, falling back down when he noticed Wooyoung take a step closer. He tried again, "San, baby? Why are you on the bed like that? I thought we had a date today?"
San looked at him apologetically, wincing as he got up. "Sorry, baby, I'm just not feeling it tonight. Had a rough day at work," he rubbed the back of his nape sheepishly.
Wooyoung softened at that, "oh, honey, that's okay. We can just spend some time here tonight? It doesn't really matter to me, just that you're with me."
San's features relaxed at the soft tone his lover used, opening his arms to allow Wooyoung to slither in and cuddle into him, "ah, what did I do to deserve you, Young-ah?"
The younger boy just snickered, deciding not to answer his boyfriend and simply enjoy the peace this moment brought to them.
