The days after that rolled by pretty smoothly, nothing too serious going on to either party. Soon, everything seemed to go back to normal for Wooyoung, as he was on his way to the diner alongside his best friend, Yeosang, whom was also going to his job in the café right next to Wooyoung's job.

"Cheer up, what's gotten you in a mood?" Yeosang chirped from beside him.

"I don't really know, Yeo. I just don't feel too good, like there's an odd feeling, but I'll try to get over it..."

"Is it about Jiho's fiancé?" Wooyoung's silence was enough of an answer to the blond. "Woo, you haven't seen him come here since the incident, and you heard him, he said he never wanted to step foot there again, I doubt anything will happen." Yeosang tried to smile and cheer up his friend, but all that he managed was a small scoff.

"I hope you're right, Sangie."

"Me too," he whispered as they arrived at Wooyoung's stop, only a couple more steps and Yeosang would be there too. "Bye, Youngie. Text me if anything goes wrong, I'll pick you up in no time, yeah?"

Wooyoung nodded, "thanks Yeo, I really appreciate it."

"It's nothing," the other smiled, and started his way to the other open café. Wooyoung watched his friend until he reached his destination, and Yeosang knowing his friend was still watching, turned around and waved at him before entering the store, Wooyoung doing the same soon after.

The day continued, and all negative thoughts eventually disappeared once Wooyoung got to work. As the night rolled around, with the clouds fading away, and the stars starting to appear, Wooyoung was making his way back from his hour break with Yeosang, and onto his last shift of the night. It usually got busier when it's a weekend, but since it was a weekday rather, it was clearer, and all the male had to do was clean up the tables alongside Taehyung.

The two boys were conversing, as they heard the bell of the door chime, both assuming it was Yeonjun back from his date with Soobin, continued to wipe down the tables. That was until their boss called them over to a new table, making them turn around to face the costumer, Wooyoung froze in his place.

San was sat at his desk with piles of paperwork that needed to be done with soon, before he heard the door knock, and the familiar head of his assistant, Siwoo, pop in. "What is it now?"

"Sir, your father is here, and he wants to speak with you," she said timidly.

San shivered lightly, before he rolled his eyes, and told her to let him in, so she did so. He then watched the man who raised him walk past the woman at the door, and enter the room with his usual smirk. "Hello son," he started with his deep voice, opening his arms, hoping for an embrace, but instead recieve da handshake. "Better than nothing, I suppose," he then sat himself at the chair by San's desk.

"What brings you here, Father?" San asked, not wanting to spend another minute extra with the man lighting up his cigar.

"What? A father can't come to visit his son?" He spoke, letting out a puff of smoke while the smirk never left his face.

"When it's you, I doubt you'd ever do that for me; Jongho, maybe, but me, no. You know that, mom knows that, Jongho knows that, and even I know that, so cut to the chase..." San said with an unamused face, and a challenging look in his eye.

"Seems you've grown a tongue to talk back to your father, doesn't that make it obvious why I chose Jongho over you. I thought the eldest would be the-"

San slammed his fists on the table, "enough! What is it that you want, dad?"

Hyunseok smiled at that, before replying. "I'm here to talk about the wedding, dear Sannie." San rolled his eyes, didn't go unnoticed, but rather ignored by his father, as he didn't stop there. "It needs to be done soon, or else we'll lose everything. If we want this company to grow and be the most important and powerful there is, then we need their connections. We were lucky enough that they had a daughter to arrange a marriage with, so now all you have to do is go on with the marriage. Clear?"

"Arg!" San was ready to explode on his father, which he slightly did before stopping himself. "Don't you ever care what I want? Or is it all this stupid company?" San said aggravated, before he realized, he was the one that always put the company first, ever since before he even met Jiho, so he sounded kind of hypocritical, and it seems his dad realized that too, as he raised an eyebrow at him quizzingly. "I'm sorry, father. I shall do what you please, and carry on with the marriage as planned."

"That's what I want to hear, now hurry up, and get your papers done, if it were I or your brother, this would've been done ages ago." Hyunseok chuckled as he waltzed out the door, clicking his tongue right before he walked out of sight.

Once he was gone, San kicked his table out of frustration, and sweeped the papers off his table, raking his hand through his dark locks. "Always talking about how my brother does things better, then maybe he should've been CEO!" He screamed the last part out, causing his assistant to walk in concerned for him.

"Are you okay, sir?" She asked her boss quickly.

San breathed in deeply, "yes, thank you, Siwoo, but I need you to cancel everything I have for the rest of the day."

"B-but you have an important meeting with-"

"Then reschedule it, Siwoo. I'm leaving now," he grabbed his jacket, and started making his way to the door. "Oh, and ask Han to call someone to clean up the room for me, thank you." He finally said, walking out of the glass door, leaving a confused Siwoo in the middle of his messy office.

San was overwhelmed with his thoughts as he walked out of the company that he didn't even know where his feet were taking him. He was so upset at himself for not controlling his emotions better, and letting his father take over his mind. "So what if Jongho is better than you? You still have the better looks, he'll never find someone that will love him. As for me-" He halted his sentence, as a delicious odor hit his nose, and the sound of his stomach growling alarmed him, while also notifying him that he hasn't eaten yet.

So, he opened his eyes again, and scanned his surroundings, only to find the diner that Wooyoung worked at, the same one that he swore to never step foot in. However, the closer he walked, the stronger the smell was, and the harder it was to resist, so he pushed his pride apart, and entered the diner.

It's true what they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
