Wilhelm Daine;

I watch as Irving checks his phone and stands from the couch.

"I'll uh— be right back." He speaks confused. I nod my head in response. He walks down the hall and approaches Lenora's room.

What?

She abruptly opens the door and yanks him inside.

She really fucking did it. She really went and fucked him.

I stare at the now empty hallway in shock, contemplating on whether or not to go kick the door down. I stand from my seat and start for the door, determined to stop whatever was going to happen— or currently happening. Goren opens the bathroom and accidentally blocks my path.

"Hi Wilkes! Are you ready?" He smiles up at me with his bruised face.

"I— Let's go wait outside." I say in an attempt to protect his ears.

"Where's Irving?"

"He's having a conversation with your sister."

"Okay. Should I go get him?"

"Would you?" I am quick to answer desperately. "—No! Actually don't." I say afraid that he'll see something no boy should ever see his sister doing.

Have I lost her?

"Are you sure?" Goren interrupts my thoughts.

"Yes. I'm sure. It's Irving— He won't be long." I roll my eyes. Just as I thought, the door opens and we are met with another person on the porch. I turn around to see Irving standing awkwardly, swinging his arms to a clap in front of him. His face is bright red and his lips swollen.

"So you ready then?" He speaks up. I turn from the two of them.

"I'll see you there, Goren." I enter my car, slamming the door shut and swerving away.

Lenora Dalsing;

It is now 6:46 and I have been sulking all day. I don't know why I did what I did. It was wrong. I'm hurting Irving. I'm hurting Wilkes. I hope he didn't see anything. It was so stupid. I didn't mean it. I just got defensive and I blew up and I was hurt... so I kissed him back. That's why. That's all.

Right?

Just then, I hear a knock at the front door. I raise myself from my bed and go to open the door. I open it to reveal Goren and Irving.

"Hi, Nora!"

"Hi, Goren. Go take a shower okay? Then you can tell me about your day."

"Okay." He smiles and walks towards his room.

"Can we talk?" Irving speaks up.

"Yes."

I lead him back to my room and sit down on my bed once again. He sits down beside me about a foot away.

"I think what happened was a mistake." I say softly.

"I don't."

"Irving please don't do this. I— I dont feel for you in that way."

"Then why did you kiss me back?"

"Because I was hurting! Wilkes hurt me and I wanted to feel loved. Or maybe I wanted to hurt him. I don't know. But I shouldn't have done it. I didn't mean it and I shouldn't have done that to him."

"You are loved, Lenora." He scoots closer once again causing me to stand.

"Irving I— you're my friend and nothing more. I don't love you like that."
