TW: SMUT!!
I'll put a "⚠️⚠️⚠️" before and after so that no one misses anything important.
"So what's going on between you and Irving?" Wilhelm asks. The two of us are now on our backs, my head on his shoulder as his left arm is wrapped around the back of my neck. I hold the hand connected to the arm I am laying on and continue fiddling with his fingers, as Spongebob Squarepants played in the background. The other two boys had fallen asleep shortly after putting on the show.
"What do you mean?" I question, still staring at our hands. "We're just friends."
"You could have fooled me." He mumbled.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing."
"I don't see why it matters."
"It doesn't."
"Then why are you acting this way?"
"I'm not." I sigh exasperated at his words, sitting up.
"Wait—" He grabs my shoulder pulling me back down. "I'm done, okay. No more."
"Fine."
"I am curious though... as to why the two of you stopped talking to begin with." He asks, making me furrow my brow in confusion.
"I thought he would've told you."
"He was sort of silent on the topic. I knew the two of you were friends when I met you a few years ago but I didn't know you were friends for so long before that— I saw the pictures in your room— therefore when you stopped talking I didn't think much of it. That was until I saw the photos of the two of you."
"Well then I'm assuming at some point you saw a third person as well, yes?"
"I did."
"She became friends with the two of us, early on. She had a crush on Irving which I knew of but I didn't mind. It wasn't until they started dating that things got awkward. She didn't like him and I talking and she'd blow up anytime we hugged or did anything really. At one point she blocked me from all of his social media accounts and so eventually the two of us just drifted apart. I didn't want to come between their relationship so I removed myself from the situation. She and I kept talking for a little while longer after that but eventually I thought it would be best for me to be on my own... Then I met Dolion and that was great... until it wasn't." I explained keeping my eyes on the ceiling. "He cheated on me with her too. I didn't recognize her at first because she had been whispering something in his ear and her face was hidden. But I noticed once I got outside and saw them together. It was quite the turn of events." I speak lowly.
"He cheated on you with her?" I nod my head in response. "Why do you keep her picture?"
"I don't know really. I'm not an insecure person but it's just something about her." I feel his eyes on me. "She's the literal opposite of me. She's tall and blonde and has blue eyes. I mean she's gorgeous— So to see two people that I care about choose her over me just hurts I guess. I envy her."
"I don't think Irving chose her over you."
"What do you mean?"
"I think he was confused. Because he was in love with you, but from what I can tell you never gave him a second thought."
"What are you talking about? He was never in love with me. We're like siblings to each other. My parents treat him like their own."
"Follow me." Wilhelm sighs, rolling his eyes as he sits up. I follow him through the door for the fort.
