This is Lenora's fit for the Christmas party^^^
Whaaaaaaaat? Two chapters in one night?
I know.
You're welcome 😗😂
"Are you bringing someone to the Christmas party tomorrow?" I ask Irving as I sit at his desk, eating lunch.
"Like who?" He scoffs, biting into his burger.
"I dunno." I drink from my milkshake. "You don't tell me much about your love life."
"There's no love life to tell you about." He shrugs. "I don't even really want to go."
"Me neither." I dip my fry into ketchup before biting into it.
"Let's not go then. We'll go to your house and spend Christmas Eve together." His eyes light up.
"No we should go to your house. I don't really want to be home."
"I don't want to be home either!" He pouts like a child.
"My dad's?" I offer. "Like we did in high school."
"Yeah okay." He smiles.
"You two are coming to the party tomorrow. No excuses." Wilhelm interrupts from behind us.
"We have no obligation. It's after work hours." I speak up.
"I'm telling you now, that you're going. After work hours or not. I'm not staying here alone with these people."
"You were doing it before we came to work here." Irving chuckles.
"And it was hell. Pick out some outfits and prepare yourselves. You're coming." He closes the door.
"He's so annoying." I roll my eyes. "Is that all he came in here to tell us? Fucking creep—" the door opens again.
"Oh I forgot to give you these—" Wilhelm tells Irving. "Your documents were sent to my printer by accident."
"Thanks, Wilkes." Irving wipes his hands with a napkin and sets the files above his printer. Wilhelm exists the room once again. "See? He's not a creep." Irving smiles at me.
"The fucker came into my house yesterday!" I argue.
"Don't give me any details." He mutters in disgust.
"We didn't do anything!" I hiss. "Well he tried— But I didn't give in." I explain. Irving begins applauding.
"Congratulations!"
"Oh shut the fuck up." I roll my eyes. "I'm going to my office now."
"Oh don't be so dramatic." He laughs. I gather my trash and lift my middle finger up to him as I exit the room.

The horn honks three more times as I check my makeup in the mirror for the last time. I finally walk out of my house and towards Irving's car.
"Well don't you look adorable?" He smiles. I give a small twirl, showing off my dark green, velvet dress. The sleeves are long and the hem reaches only to my mid thighs. "Short though." He jokes.
"I know." I smile. I sit down in the passenger seat and adjust my necklace that's bigger than I'm used to. "Let's get this over with." I sigh, leaning back.
When we finally arrive, we take the elevator up to top floor. The office looks different. The room is dim, lit only by Christmas lights that line the ceiling. I scan the room, seeing a backdrop for photos and a big, beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
