Chapter 28
Louise’s P.O.V
I arrived at the studio only minutes later, jumping off of my skateboard only feet before the door. Harry had arrived near the same time, and held the door open, as he greeted me with a warm smile. He followed me inside, but eventually took the lead, showing me to the main room. I stopped before I turned into the doorway, preparing myself. My hands were shaking, I could feel my heartbeat quickening, and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to hold in my nerves much longer. I let out a deep breath, and stepped around the corner. Five pairs of eyes landed on me immediately, registering my presence. For a moment, my heart stopped, following my doubts that they wouldn’t like me, until I heard a shrill screech. The sound shocked me out of my ambiguity, and as soon as my eyes brought themselves from the floor, I was engulfed in a warm hug. I stood with my hands at my sides, unable to move, until Harry spoke up from his place only paces away.
“That’s Louis for you” he chuckled, walking to take a seat on the couch.
My mind finally registered the almighty presence I was in, and I shrieked back at Louis, as he let me out of his arms.
“It’s so nice to finally meet you, I’m really a huge fan” I rambled, shaking his hand frantically. He giggled, thanked me, and stepped out of the way, so the others could introduce themselves. As much as I had been around Harry, I wasn’t used to all of their thick accents yet, and I didn’t plan to ever be. After we all took our places in the seats scattering the room, I ran over their names in my head, making sure I wasn’t going to mess them up later. I managed to file most of their phone numbers away in my phone, as they insisted it was vital I have them. We all sat in a circle in the large room, small talk being exchanged as they all got to know me better. Harry sat to my right, and the man named Ed sat to my left, casually talking to Harry over me. Louis broke through the chatter.
“Well, let’s get started” He said, a wide smile curling onto his face. He sat across from me, a small laptop on his computer. Clicking a couple times in the silence, he hummed a simple tune. When he was at his desired webpage, he turned the computer to face us, revealing a large map stretching across the screen. Five pairs of eyes were on me again, this time all with wide smile beneath them. I sat uncomfortably, squinting at the screen.
“What?” I asked, obviously out of the loop.
Harry let out a low rumble next to me, laughing at my cluelessness.
“Well” he adjusted himself in his seat. “Where to?”
