Chapter 6
Louise's P.O.V
Everything stops. It's almost as if we're in slow motion. My skateboard behind me, and Harry in front of me, both flying through the air. Before my mind can catch up and get up to speed, I close my eyes, and brace for impact. Waiting for the pain, I wait. After what feels like an hour has gone by of waiting, I open my eyes, to find Harry underneath me. "Well, that didn't hurt so bad, did it?" I smile, flashing my teeth at him, his body underneath mine. Harry's arms are spread at his sides, his forearms shown out of his rolled up sleeves, and his dark mop of hair covering his eyes. Blowing his hair out of his eyes, he lets out a laugh. "Yeah, whatever you say" he groans again. Sighing, i lay my head on his chest, still exhilarated by what had just happened. I finally lift my head, and see Harry staring down at me. "What?" I ask, looking at him. "Nothing" He smiles, a crooked smile across his face, I've noticed he does often. "Alright then, let's go, what are you waiting for grandpa?" I laugh. Standing to me feet, I realize my skateboard made it's way down the stairs with us, and I slip again. Closing my eyes again, I expect to actually hit the ground this time, but when i open them, all I see is the white panels of the ceiling. Looking to my left, I notice Harry is already on his feet, and he's caught me. Finally standing up, out of his grip, I'm facing him. "Thanks for saving me life.. uh, again" I stutter, suddenly unable to look away from the emerald shine of his eyes. "Seems like it's sort of a habit of mine I guess" he responds, rubbing the back of his neck. Chuckling, I grab my skateboard from the floor next to me, and climb the stairs. "Are you coming?" I ask Harry, noticing he hasn't left the spot where I left him. Sighing, he takes two steps at a time, meeting me at the top of the stairs. "Well, let's go then" I say, smiling. We get on my skateboard again, strolling at a cautious, but comfortable pace down the halls. Not thinking, and almost..naturally, I bring myself closer to him and kiss his cheek. Before I can process what I've done, I have already made my way to his lips, and I'm kissing him fully. Finally pulling away, I feel my face drain of it's color. Harry doesn't say a word as we turn each corner, but I can see the wide smile plastered on his face, and his green eyes shining as we make our way back to the room.
