Chapter 26

Harry’s P.O.V

I paced the studio, phone to my ear, the repetitive tone filling my head. I had already tried calling 3 times, but she wasn’t picking up. Giving up, I left another message, all eyes on me as I spoke into the phone. I hung up the phone with a sigh, turning to the rest of the boys. “She’ll call me later, we aren’t on the best of terms right now” I frowned, remembering the smug look on Luke’s face as I had walked away. Shaking away my thoughts, I threw my phone on the couch, not wanting to deal with the drama that came with it.

“You’re not on the best of terms with her?” Louis pointed to the computer screen, motioning to her face.

“How could you not be?” Niall chimed in, his eyes still hooked to the screen. Jealousy shot through me, and I quickly strided across to the table where the computer was. Switching off the monitor, I glared at Niall.

“It’s not.. It’s complicated” I said again, running my hand through my hair, the memories of her flashing through my mind. My irritation was growing with every word out of the boys mouth, and I could feel my face reddening. Noticing my frustration, Ed finally chimed in.

“Why don’t we get to recording then?” He asked me, standing from his seat and leading me out of the room. Even if she wasn’t with me, and no matter how hard I tried to get her out, she was everywhere, and I knew I couldn’t  get out.

Louise’s P.O.V

My smile was so broad it made my face hurt, but it still stay plastered to my face. Leaned against the door, I pulled my phone out of my bag, hoping to see a text from Luke. Clicking the lock button, I waited, but the screen stay black. Huffing, I remembered my phone had died when I was out with Luke, and I hadn’t minded then, I was with the only person I wanted to talk to then. It was about 7 now, and my eyes were already growing heavy, the day having had worn me out. Getting to my feet, I walked to my room, first plugging my phone in, then throwing my bag on the ground. I began to undress to get into the shower, hearing my phone buzz on my table, signaling it was on now. Ignoring it, I didn’t expect anyone to contact me. Not even Luke really. Convincing myself he had probably talked to me as much as he could handle today, I stepped into the shower, and washed the worries of Luke down the drain. Those were the only ones that seemed to go away though. The constant reminder of Harry always nagged in the back of my mind, asking for attention. Cutting off my thought process, I got out of the shower and got dressed, not letting my mind wander back. As I slipped on my pajamas and dried my hair, my phone buzzed again. And then again, and again. Curious, I stopped what I was doing and walked to the table beside my bed, picking up my phone.

Text Message: Luke

Missed Call from Harry (3)

Youtube: New Comment

My eyes dragged down the screen, reading each new notification. Excitement shot through me, as I read the first line of text, but it was followed quickly by a drop in my chest, as I read the next line. I was used to Youtube notifications, new videos, likes on my videos, nothing out of the norm. Sliding across the screen, I first went to my messages.

“Today was great :) let’s do that again, soon”

I smiled at Luke’s message, he was probably still as giddy as I was from the events of today. Dreading my next action, I slowly dragged my hand across to my phone application, clicking on it, and going to my voicemails. I hesitated, but I knew as mad as he was, it must have been somewhat important for him to actually talk to me for the first time in days. I clicked play, and held the phone to my ear.
