Chapter 31
Louise’s P.O.V
“Did you mention being in a band maybe?
I texted Luke, suddenly connecting Niall’s words earlier to Luke’s.
“Yeah! and I’ve got big news, meet up later so I can tell you?”
He texted back, but I shoved my phone in my pocket as Harry sat down, knowing he’d be upset if he saw me texting Luke. As he sat down he put his arm around me, leaning down to rest his chin on my head, and leaving a small kiss on top of my head. I smirked at the contact, and moved closer to him, nuzzling into his neck. The rest of the boys were picking out places they wanted to visit, and were on facetime with their management and drivers for the tour. The babbling in the background faded to gray as I moved my head to look up at Harry, merely admiring him in a comfortable state. He felt my gaze and brought his face down to mine, landing a kiss on my cheek before taking one last look at me and pulling me closer. His chest rumbled as he spoke to the boys, and I loved the feeling. I could feel the deepness of it within his chest, and the words rolled off his lips with his thick accent accommodating them. The afternoon passed like, Harry and I on the couch, and the rest of the boys bustling about the room, frantic for something that seemed so far away. The sun no longer shone through the gigantic windows making up the north side of the room, and soon it grew colder. The rest of the boys didn’t seem to notice, they were likely hot with all the running around they were doing, but I was nearly shivering as my temperature began to drop. Harry felt my movements and adjusted himself, taking his jacket off and placing it on top of me, then reaching over and grabbing a pillow from the other side of the couch and laying it on his lap. I lay my head back down, facing up at him, and I admired him. It’d been only been three weeks we’d known each other now, but it felt an eternity. I started up at him and observed his face, his long eyelashes visible from where I was, fluttering as they watched the rest of the boys. A smile would flash across his face now and then, and it was a wonder all the lights didn’t go out it was so bright. His hand stayed running through my hair as I lay in his lap, constantly in contact. This I thought. This is where I want to be, all the time. And for once, I agreed with my subconscious.
