Chapter 24: Until I Die

Couple of days have gone by since I introduced Malia to the pack as my mate. There has still been some problems with pack members where they would complain about Malia being human, but nothing more than simple words, nothing threatening. Nothing physical.

Today was a special day. Today is the day I am going to propose to Malia. Hopefully everything will go according to plan and she will say yes. I mean, we have been talking about marriage and she does want to get married to me, but still its kind of nerve-wracking to say the least.

Here she goes again making me nervous. I have been nervous more times around her than I have in my entire lifetime. Not in bad ways, just the fact that she does something to me. Maybe it's because she loves me for who I am. Maybe it's the fact that I love her unconditionally and all I want to do is to see her happy. Whatever it the reason, I don't mind it at all.

Today we were going to Disneyland Park, where she thinks all we are going to do is go on rides and spend the day there. What she doesn't know is that our lives may change forever. I had already spoke with the park and they told me some options that I could do in order to propose.

I decided that after we finish with the rides, we'll go have dinner at Napa Rose in the park and then I will propose to her there. Depending on how things go, I have a hotel suit booked, so we'll be able to spend the night there and leave the next day.

Yesterday, I drove to the park and kept it with the restaurant because, one: Malia loves to clean; two: because I didn't want to hold it while we drove to the park with the rides, and three: because I didn't want to leave her side today so she wouldn't get suspicious. I flew out Sebastian and Elizabeth to be here on her special day.

Malia was currently in the bathroom getting ready. I grabbed my phone off the charger and opened the group chat that I had made for today. I saw that my brother had changed the group name:

I rolled my eyes and started typing.

Me: Dinner reservation is at 6, we'll have dinner and then at around 7 I'll pop the question. That's when you guys will come out.

Tony: YES! THE ALPHA IS GETTING ENGAGED!

Me: Maybe. If she says yes.

Tony: YOU WILL!

Drew: Antonio stop with the capital letters.

Madre: Oh, figlio mio, everything will work out.

Elizabeth: Yeah. What your mom said. My sister is going to say yes.

Sebastian: Yeah, I know how crazy in love with you she is.

James: I concur.

Me: I sure hope so.

Elizabeth: I got a small bag with Malia's stuff in it.
