Quick Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or a surgeon so bear in mind everything I'm going off of here is from the Internet. Sorry if that triggers anyone.

Also, I just realized that I've called Aura Knights "Aura Guardians". Well I'm just going to explain that. They're the same thing, but the Aura Knights were Aura Guardians who attained the highest rank within the faction itself. They're usually the most skilled with their Powers and essentially call the shots within said Faction.

"How is she!?" April demanded as the surgeon stepped out of the operating room.

"She's alive, comatose, but alive," the surgeon said, unfazed by April. "The girl had suffered severe internal damage to her kidney, and unfortunately we had no other choice but to remove it, else, in her condition, she would've died. But we also removed a small chunk of steel that appeared to be from a knife from the wound, which was quite odd, because save for a small scar, there was no indication of any wound, at the very least nothing recent. It had broken off and had cut her internal iliac, but we managed to stop the bleeding. Ultimately we wrapped up the first surgery and put her in post-op and under keen medical supervision with routine checks every ten minutes. When her condition hadn't improved, we immediately brought her back in."

"What happened?" Red asked.

"Some of her stitches had given way, but thankfully her internal iliac's suture's had held. Currently she's comatose, which is to be expected."

"Is she going to live!?" April demanded.

"Her life's no longer in danger, so yes, she's going to live. We believe she'll wake up in a couple days, or at the end of the week. They're moving her back to her room within the hour."

"Thank you for your help, doc," April said, breathing a sigh of relief. "Would you mind if we went in to see her?"

"Unfortunately, you can't see her right now. Well, not all of you, anyway. She just got out of surgery, and we don't want to take any chances compromising her health. The most we can allow is two people, preferably those with familial ties to the patient."

"I'm her guardian, and he's her twin brother," April said. "Would we be allowed to see her?"

"Of course, since you're her family," the surgeon said. "But unfortunately the rest of you aren't going to be able to."

"That's quite alright," Brendan replied. "We have some other business to take care of as it is." He looked at April. "Just let us know how it goes. I'm assuming you and Kyle will be staying here until Jess is fit enough to travel?" The Patron of Articuno and the Lieutenant nodded. "Alright. Then we'll likely be on our way." The group nodded and said their farewells to April and Kyle, before leaving the hospital.

"They let Allison go home at least," May noted as they passed the receptionist's office.

"Nope, still here," they heard a female voice call. "Just in the restroom."

"Oh. Sorry!"

"You're fine."

After that, the group left the hospital.

"Alright, now what?" Wally asked.

"Get Claire home," Brendan told him. "We'll catch up shortly, I just want to drop in and thank Lady Ilene for the help today, and to fill her in on the situation." Then then looked at Owen and Raina. "Would you guys mind going with Wally and Claire. They could use the extra hands, and it's probably best if we stay in groups until this whole Patron of Darkrai issue gets resolved." The two nodded, but then Owen spoke up.
