Chapter 24, Josh's POV
"Okay please don't freak out but I have to go to some meeting at 9:30 so i'll be leaving a 9, is that okay with you?" I ask, taking a bite into my muffin, staring at her long hair falling perfectly behind her.
"Um sure. Why do you seem so tense?" She replies, turning towards me in a rushed motion as her hair flows in the air as if its confetti.
"N-no reason at all." Fuck. I would stutter. I walk into the room and grab my shirt from the seat in her room.
"Well for an actor your lying skills are horrible." She rolls her eyes and sits down with a cup of coffee in hand.
"I'm just nervous for this meeting. It'll reflect on me in a huge way."
It's true, if she doesn't believe my words that I'm with her now, how strong can our relationship be?
"Well, I wish you luck. I know you'll get it right, babe. You somehow always do." She sips her coffee and gives me her cute know it all face.
"Thanks." I turn to the clock and see that it's 8:50 already. "I'll see you later."
I peck her cheek and she pulls back, pulling my face towards her lips and we're having a stroll down memory lane. Our first kiss sparked everything.
We let go and give each other one last, warm smile and I'm off.
I get to my car and I realize I have no idea how to plan a party in a few hours. Thank goodness I have a publicist.
