Chapter 9, Michelle's POV:
We had dinner in a private part of the restaurant and that's when I realized Josh was still a celebrity. He hasn't changed besides his physical features.
"Alright you two, we'll see you guys tomorrow since I have a feeling you're going to party." Michelle, Josh's mom, brings up.
"Let them have fun tonight, sweetie. Connor is going to a friend's so we have the house to ourselves so it's not a bad thing." Chris says to her.
"Great, we have to live with that image now?" Connor jokes.
"Thanks you guys, for that lovely imagination." Josh jokes as well.
"Well, thank you for tonight Mr. & Mrs. Hutcherson, I had fun with you guys." I go in for a hug as she does too.
"Why do you still call us by our last names, Elle? You make us feel old." Chris laughs as I give him a hug.
"I just have a lot of respect for you guys." I answer.
"You're like a daughter to us, honey." Michelle says. "Any man will be lucky to be with you." She replies.
"And I will make sure he's good for you, for your father." Chris says. "Well I won't have to if Josh finally admits he likes you."
I blush at his comment as Josh does too and Connor nudges me a bit.
"Thanks dad." Josh scoffs jokingly.
"Alright, we'll see you guys later." Michelle sends us off in the second car we brought with us.
Josh drives us into town but on the way there, the music is loud and i'm texting Austin letting him know how I've been though it's been a day, he's just over protective yet I don't mind it. It's nice knowing someone worries about your safety.
As we're driving, the guy in the restaurant is in every piece of my mind.
He has hazel eyes but can never beat Josh's big ones. His smile was perfect, tall, light brown hair, porcelain skin, and his attention in the restaurant was always brought back to me with every glance I caught him in. He caught mine as well I must admit. But then the comment Chris made made my heart beat louder and I blushed just thinking about it.
"Hey Ellie," Josh catches my attention. "Wanna go to this party we were invited to?"
"Sure, but who's?" I ask.
"An upcoming skateboarder. He works with Rob Dyrdek but I've never met him."
"Ok, let's go."
In fifteen minutes, we arrive to a mansion on the outskirts of Kentucky. The gardening outside is surrounded with a beautiful fountain and nature around us. I take a chance to study the details as we walk inside arm in arm, just best friends.
A few famous sports pros were here and I've met all of them and as Rob Dyrdek introduces us to his addition of sports professionals. To my surprise, he was the guy from the restaurant and up close, I'm attracted as he shows he's attracted to me too.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ryan Ross." He introduces himself to me first then Josh as he holds out his hand.
"I'm Michelle Thompson, nice to meet you." I smile back and shake his hand.
"I'm Josh Hutcherson, nice to meet you too." He shakes his hand as well.
I don't sense any tense and I want it to stay that way. Josh has jealousy issues as he expressed in the media which got him in trouble.
"Would you guys like a drink?" Ryan asks politely. "We have energy drinks, sodas, snow cones, alcohol, you can have whatever."
"Can I have a redbull energy drink please?" I ask.
