Chapter 14, Josh's POV.

Glancing at her sleeping every now and then reminds me how lucky I am to have her. SHe forgave me for what I've done yet I still can't forgive myself for it. How can I just think I'm off the hook for her forgiving me when I just got up and left? Yeah, if I never did I wouldn't have pursued my dreams. She just doesn't know why I won't let myself drop it is because my parents gave me the chance to take her along with us and being the selfish 14 year old, I didn't want to. It was the biggest mistake of my life and she ended up getting hurt.

Besides the negative thinking, I remember the times we were kids. She still sleeps the same with her lip twitching every now and then as well. She was my first kiss at 9 years old and she always had that against me, in a good way. I always liked her but considered her as one of the guys growing up. Then puberty happened and my childish crush turned into more. Even in California and traveling to different countries none of the girls could make me feel like Michelle. She became a part of me.

I haven't asked her to be my girlfriend officially but it scares me. I'm so used to having the relationship where I make out with a girl who's willing and usually only there for lip locking at clubs. Never had a stable relationship before, either. I'm new to this and she knows how this goes yet I'm stuck with girls who just wanna be seen with me but the sick thing is that I don't care because I'm not ready to be tied down with half the girls I'm surrounded by are psycho.

I pull up to the driveway of my house and shake her gently. She wakes up and sees that we're home.

"Good morning, sunshine." I greet.

"Ah, finally home." I love how she mentioned it's her home.

I smile at her and she gets out of the car to retrieve our things and we make it back into the house.

"Hey you two." My dad welcomes us back in and helps Michelle with her bags.

"Hey, where's mom and Connor?" I asked.

"Grocery store. I'm actually heading out to a game of basketball with the neighbor so I'll see you guys later." He gets up and gives a nod and walks out.

"Well here we are again." I mention.

"So close yet so far, haven't I passed the test?"

"I like that song. And her." I wink at her.

"Me too. But too bad that she admitted she'd go lesbian for her lovatics, hello!" She points down at her figure and starts to laugh. "I'd make love to her any day, duh!"

"Thanks Michelle. Now I'll just have to sleep at night having the sexy thought of Demi Lovato and my girlfriend making love."

"Well, what guy wouldn't?" She laughs. "Anyway, what're we gonna do next? It's 4:48 and you said the event tonight isn't gonna happen until 9 so we have the time to ourselves right now, well until your mom and Connor comes back."

"Wanna show me what you got at the mall today?" I suggest.

"Sure, before I do, did you get the feeling of being watched today?" She asks.

"When don't I? I'm usually followed by paparazzi's so yeah, it comes with that feeling. Why?"

"Some guy in a grey sweatsuit followed me around everywhere today and snapped pictures of me walking to meet you up." She begins to unpack her new clothes and folds them to be put away soon.

"I saw him too. He didn't bug you today though, right?"

"Nope. Let's watch some TV, I kinda have to get used to it being here with you this summer, huh?" She smiles and walks towards the couch I'm sitting on to sit next to me.

The first channel was E! and she kept this on for the premiere of some music video coming up. Throughout the show, the host kept bragging on about celebrities being seen.

"Josh Hutcherson out with mysterious girl! Stay tuned to see who we reveal, you may be shocked!"

I glance at Michelle and she's already looking at me.

"Maybe they didn't get the part when we were kissing in the mall?" She insists.

"And what if they did?" I'm curious to know what she'll say.

"We could admit we're staying with each other. But what canI say when you haven't even asked me out yet?" She does have a point. "We have nothing to admit unless we're not confirming what we have right now is a relationship but to ourselves."

"Michelle, I love you and I wish I had asked you sooner, but will you please be my girlfriend?" I ask, holding her hand with her eyes locked in mine.

"Well, yes!" She laughs and pulls my face in for a kiss.

"Then we have to confirm it to the world. I don't wanna keep this from my fans, especially since they've been super supportive of my decision on taking a break this summer so I can confirm it for them."

"Let's do it, the relationship you have with them is beautiful and I can't ever think of keeping you from them." She smiles, sitting back in her place.

That means a lot for me since they're amazing people. Without them, I wouldn't be here right now. They care about me and my decisions and I love them. Nothing can break the bond I have with them.

"Thanks, babe." I smile, pulling her closer to me as E! begins to play again.

"Josh Hutcherson shops at a mall in his hometown, Kentucky! Sources reveal he was seen with the beautiful Michelle Thompson, movie star's little sister Austin and Tyler Thompson. The two were holding hands entering the mall and kissing before they shopped in different directions. We searched for any sightings online and she posted these photos on her instagram (michelleee) of her with two girls she met today. The young girl also posted her photo quoting, "Met Michelle T. Today!  sweet girl, thanks for taking a pic with us! xoxo" Well she sounds like a sweetheart. Michelle Thompson isn't only the sister of the super famous Thompson duo, but also grew up with Josh and the two were best friends since they can remember, our source reveals. The cute couple was also seen leaving the mall with numerous shopping bags, entering a car. Stay tuned on our relationship tracker!"

Michelle turns to me, confused. "What source would reveal that?"

"I have no idea, but they got it pretty quick since we just came back not even 30 minutes ago. We can figure it out tomorrow, I'll ask my mom to schedule us on Good Morning America or something to confirm it. I'm really excited for this."

"Wherever you go, I'll go."

"You're a bird, I'm a bird." I smile cheekily.

"Don't quote the movie until the moment is perfect! It's my favourite." She smiles grabbing onto my shoulders.

"Well I'll wait for the perfect moment." I say, and kiss her gently.

The moment we part, we just stare into each other's eyes. Her eyes are brown with a mix of gray which I find amazing. She smiles at me and I realize how lucky I am to have her.
