Torres was flying. If ripping down the freeway on a bike at 70 mph could be considered relative to flying, then yes, he was quite literally flying. But everything was perfect. Through no short amount of time, he had found a woman that he was head-over-heels for, and Gibbs of all people had marked him with approval. Since actually talking about the years of trauma, he felt as if masses of weight had been unloaded. Even better, he didn't feel guilty, he felt for the first time ever, safe.
