They could all see it. Torres was still Torres. Just quieter. Less humorous. Per Director Vance's orders, he was strictly on desk duty until he passed the psych eval three times in a row. Following that time he still had to attend weekly therapy sessions. He barely passed the three evals. No one knew he was going to therapy. But he was different, they could see that. His "incident" with the ring leader of the trafficking unit, (now heavily secured in Gitmo), had opened the door to a flood of memories from his past decade undercover. Bishop was worried but didn't push anything, knowing that it would frustrate Nick. McGee was worried, too. He had even asked Nick how he was doing once. Instead of the anticipated sharp retort, Nick had quietly said, "Fine." McGee avoided him at all costs, convinced that a docile Nick was even more dangerous than an angry one. Even Gibbs was concerned. Though you'd get a headache trying to see it. He was different, but still functioning well in the field. His undercover training kicked in. Concealing the truth was something he excelled in. He was stuck and struggling. No one knew how much.
