Time: 7:46 pm. Several days later.
Setting: Luke's Room. Room 343.
Luke: (laying down on his couch, spread out) I'm confused.
Aleisha: (looks up from her book, smirks) 'Confused' like the time you made me kiss you to see if you were straight? Cuz, let me tell you, there is no joy in getting puked on after kissing a boy.
Luke: (blushes) You still haven't forgiven me for that? I was twelve!
Aleisha: (serious voice) I will never forgive you, Lucas. One does not simply forget the feeling of vomit all over their brand new sundress.
Luke: (covers his face) Ugh! I bought you a new one! I even paid for the shoes that went with it.
Aleisha: The good ol' times, ey?
Luke: Shut up. I'm not confused about my sexuality.
Aleisha: We about to go on about that Ashton kid? I swear, my gay-dar goes haywire whenever he floats into the room on his little hippie cloud of flowers and cuteness.
Luke: (pauses, pulls hands away from face) He confuses me.
Aleisha: Confuses you how?
Luke: He acts like a housewife then he acts like a child. One second he's all deep and mature, the next he's going on about sunflowers and cupcakes. (frowns) And one day, he's calling Calum 'sweetheart' and the next day he says he's just a friend. (incredulous) What kind of friend brings another friend flowers when he has a girlfriend?!
Aleisha: (snorts) The kind that wears flower crowns and those cute, too-big-for-you sweaters that give you adorable sweater paws.
Luke: (bitter, muttering) If you think he's so cute, why don't you just date him already?
Aleisha: (smirks) He seems to be a lot more interested in the boy with eyebrow piercings, tattoos and the bitchy-yet-likeable attitude. You're like the little bulldog that people can't resist but who's not afraid to bite their fingers off.
Luke: (flustered, looking away) Who even asked you?
Aleisha: (chuckles) You did.
