Setting: Parking Lot.
Ashton: (walking from work, sees Troye standing on the sidewalk in front of him, glares) What do you want?
Troye: (smirks) Feisty. I like it.
Ashton: (ignores him, walks past him)
Troye: (walks after him, smug) I did warn you.
Ashton: (stops, twitches)
Troye: (smirks) Told you.
Ashton: (turns around, seething) That's it. Let's just stop with the beating around the bush and talk like real men. (deep breath) What exactly did you think you could accomplish here? What do you want?
Troye: I'm a free spirit, Ashton. I don't know what I want.
Ashton: (frustrated) You couldn't be a free spirit somewhere else?
Troye: (shrugs) Does it matter? (smirking) He chose me. In the end, he chose me.
Ashton: (fed up, serious) No, he didn't. He fucked you. That doesn't mean that he chose you.
Troye: (raising an eyebrow) So what? He chose you? (short laugh) Do you honestly think that?
Ashton: (moves closer, looking down at Troye) I don't think, Troye. I know. (softer) It doesn't matter what you do, Troye. He'll always end up choosing me.
Troye: (taken aback, blurts) He left you.
Ashton: (hurt, doesn't show it) He'll come back for me.
Troye: (insistent) He still left.
Ashton: And he'll still come back. (nearly choking) Because, at the end of the day, Luke loves me more than anything. (narrowing his eyes) You think that just because you gave it up to him that he'll come crawling back? (shakes his head) You're nothing but a rebound.
Troye: (pissed) Coming from the man who practically has a heart attack when Luke confessed..
Ashton: (small) Because some of us are scared, Troye. Not all of us know what to do in situations like these. Yeah, I freaked. Yeah, I screamed. (glares at Troye) But, none of that matters. What matters is that I know Luke loves me. Not you. Me. He loves me. And I know that whenever push comes to shove, he'd choose me over you every time.
Troye: (weak) But he left you.
Ashton: (sure of his answer) He'll come back for me. Just watch. He'll come back.
