Ben: (pulling Jack aside, angry) What the hell was that?
Jack: (shrugs, nonchalant) I was just speaking the truth.
Ben: That's not the truth, you dickwad. I can't believe you said that to Luke and Ashton. We came here to fix our relationship with our brother.
Jack: (glaring) That waste of space is not my brother. He'll never be.
Ben: (exasperated) Then, just leave! (deep breath) Whether you like it or not, Luke is our baby brother. We lost him five years ago and, I don't know about you, but I'm not willing to lose him again. (jabs a finger at Jack's chest) If you don't like it, leave.
Jack: (offended) You'd pick that cocksucker over me?!
Ben: (calmer, serious) I'm not picking anyone. I simply want both of you in my life. You're both my brothers. If it came right down to it, I'd sooner cut my own leg off than lose either of you.
Jack: (angry) Yeah, you go ahead and do that. (turns and storms out) Screw this. I'm going home.
Ben: (sighs in exasperation, returns to his seat) God. Where did I go wrong?
Diane: (places a comforting hand on Ben's shoulder) It'll be alright, babe.
Luca: (looking up from his food) Where'd Uncle Jack go?
Ben: (deflated) Back to the hotel. I think he'll be heading back to Sydney tonight.
Luca: (frowns, worried) Are we going, too?
Ben: (smiles, small laugh) No, Luca. We're not going home yet.
Luca: (beams) Good. It's fun here. (Luca is silent for a moment) What about Mr. Luke?
Ben: (sighs) He'll still be here. He just went home to blow off steam. What Uncle Jack said made him very angry. (pauses) Luca?
Luca: Yeah, dad?
Ben: Don't say that word that Uncle Jack called Luke, okay? It's a bad word and it's very hurtful to people like Luke.
Luca: (confused, trying to figure it out) Because...Mr. Luke likes Ashton?
Ben: (nods) Yeah.
Luca: (smiles) Mr. Luke is funny and cool. I like him.
Ben: (Ben and Diane chuckle) Glad to hear that, bub.
