Calum: I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been, babe?
Ashton: Great. Things have been great.
Calum: String Bean treating you alright?
Ashton: (rolls his eyes) Yes, mum.
Calum: (sighs) I just worry, Ashy.
Ashton: (smiles, lies against Calum on the couch, Calum is spooning Ashton) Worry wart.
Calum: I don't mean to be.
Ashton: (giggles) I know. But I'm glad. (brings Calum's hand to his mouth to kiss it, continues to hold his hand) I like knowing that people care. You're like my brother, Cal. If there's one person that cares about me the most, it's probably you.
Calum: Long Legs might have something to say about that.
Ashton: (giggles) He loves me differently. You both love me in your own ways. The same way I love you in my own ways. (more serious) Never think that I'll choose him over you or leave him to please you, either. I need you both in my life. I love you both. You two are the most important people in my life.
Calum: (hugs Ashton to him) I've missed you. You're not here nearly as much as I'd like.
Ashton: I'm always here, doofus. (sincere) I'll always be here
Calum: (joking tone, somewhat serious) Don't let your partner take all of your time, okay? Make sure you make time for your best friend.
Ashton: (smirks) Don't steal my boyfriend and we've got a deal.
Calum: (scrunches nose) Blondes aren't exactly my thing.
Ashton: (teasing) Last I recall, Mikey's actually a dirty blonde.
Calum: (snorts) Michael goes through so many hair colors, it doesn't even matter. His hair probably grows clear so that it's easier to dye.
Ashton: When are you going to ask him to be your boyfriend?
Calum: Not sure. (smiles) Soon, though. He's been hinting at it for the last few weeks.
Ashton: Put the poor boy out of his misery. You've been having buttsex for a month. How hard is it to take him on a date?
Calum: (rolls his eyes) The whole point of a friends with benefits relationship is to avoid the whole dating part.
Ashton: (grinning) But, you want more. Yeah?
Calum: (wistfully) I'm afraid that I'll always want more with him.
Ashton: (pats Calum's hand) Don't be afraid. It'll work out.
Calum: If there's one thing that I've learned from you, it's that anything's possible.
