Setting: Starbucks Coffee.
Michael: So, you've been here a while.
Luke: (nods) Yeah.
Michael: Three months, to be exact.
Luke: (amused) Yes. I know.
Michael: So...there's this worker.
Luke: Alright.
Michael: She's really pretty. (hints) Really into punk guys.
Luke: (smirks) Is that why you've changed hair color?
Michael: (blinks) Uh...no...she's more into, like, tattoos...piercings...tall people...
Luke: Sounds like a cool girl.
Michael: (grins) Yeah, she is. She's been looking for a boyfriend, lately.
Luke: Good one on ya', mate. You two sound like a good match.
Michael: (blanches, incredulous) Wait, what?
Luke: (confused) I thought we were talking about a crush of yours.
Michael: (eyes wide, sighs, exasperated) How big of a dunce are you, really?
Luke: (frowns) Excuse me, Clifford?
Michael: (throws hands in the air) I was talking about a nice girl for you.
Luke: (visibly blanches, surprised, disgusted) Ew. What the fuck? I don't like girls. (eyes widens as he realizes what he blurted out) Oh, shit.
Michael: (astonished, leans in slowly) You're...gay?
Luke: (guarded) Yeah. So what?
Michael: (leans back in his seat, clicks tongue) Huh. That explains a little. (blushes suddenly) And I just tried to hook you up with a girl. Oh, gosh. I'm so embarrassed.
Luke: (relieved, smile, teasing) 'A' for effort. 'C' for technique, though. (laughs, lifts hands in quotation marks) "Into tattoos and piercings". Good Lord.
Michael: (buries face in hands) Leave me to die.
Luke: (amused) I give you a 'B' for humility.
Michael: Leave. Me. To. Die.
Note: I'm so sad that Zayn left 1D. But I'm glad that he's finally focusing on his health and well-being. Just remember lovelies: do what's best for you. Zayn did what's best for him, so let's just support him and get through this together, yeah?
