Chapter 49 ✅

It's been another couple of weeks. The Uley pack have been stalking outside the Cullen house and Jacob tried to trick them. Leah feels bad because Maggie is so mad. Leah hates making her friend mad.

Maggie is watching as Sam, Harry, and Billy argue about what to do with Seth, Leah, and Jacob since they all left the pack and are defending Bella and whatever she's carrying inside her stomach.

"I don't care what he's done!" Billy demands as he wheels outside after Sam, Harry following right behind. "He's still my son."

"Leah and Seth are my babies, Sam," Harry says. "Don't give me another heart attack."

Paul comes running up suddenly and he whispers something into Sam's ear, and Sam's stoic figure becomes even more stoic if possible.

"Bella's dead," Sam says bluntly to Billy and Sam. "That thing killed her. Come on!"

Maggie gives Billy amd Harry a hug, mutters an apology, and she quickly follows Sam and Paul. She phases wirh the two of them. They meet up with Quil, Embry, and Jared. They run to the Cullens and a fight breaks out. Maggie takes on Emmett. Emmett kept promising to go around with her and now he is.

Jacob jump out suddenly, over the Cullens. "Stop!" He mind-links them. "You kill her, you kill me."

"Jacob imprinted," Edward informs his family. "They can't hurt her. It's their biggest law."

Sam growls in displeasure as Maggie stares at the house.

"You can meet your niece, Maggie," Edward says as he reads her thoughts. "It's okay."

Maggie looks at Sam for permission and he nods, but tells Maggie and Edward he's waiting here for when she's done. Edward and Carlisle understand, Sam is protective over his sister. More over his sister than his pack mate. Maggie goes into the woods and phases. She walks out in denim shorts and a blue tank top. Edward leads her inside and Rosalie lets the wolf hold the baby. Renesmee Carlie Cullen, named after Renee, Esme, and Carlisle. Maggie holds her niece for the very first time.
