Maggie paces the waiting room floors in the hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Her jacket is lain on the chair beside Allison, who declared she was riding with the Swans when they were called that Bella was hurt.

Alice and Jasper are watching in concern as Maggie paces. She feels anger, glad, and worry. She's angry at Edward for luring Bella out of the house and Forks anyway, luring her to danger, where she's now hurt.

She's glad that Edward and Carlisle went after Bella to bring her home. But she's hurt now. Maggie is more concerned that anything. She and Bella might not be close, but she's still her sister and Maggie is worried sick.

"Magdalynn," Allison speaks softly, "why don't you sit down?"

Allison's phone rings. "It's the oncologist."

Maggie looks at her quickly and she hurries over. "Answer it."

"Hello?" Allison says unto the phone, she puts it on speaker.

"Miss Uley," the oncologist says with a soft voice, "we have the results of your tests."

"This early?" Allison asks as she and Maggie share a look.

"We put a rush on it," Dr. Parks claims.

"Oh, that's good," Allison replies. "What's the verdict, Dr. Parker?"

She and Maggie are fearing the worst since it was the actual doctor calling, and not a nurse.

"Miss Uley," Dr. Parks speaks up, "you're in remission."

"What!?" Allison asks.

"Is it complete or partial remission?" Maggie asks.

"Smart girl," Dr. Parks replies. "According to the scans, it seems to be a complete remission. Do you know what that means?"

Maggie seed Allison looking at her. "Signs and symptoms of cancer disappear."

"I'll leave you to your day, Miss Uley," Dr. Parks claims.

Allison sobs as she hangs up, happily, of course. Maggie grins and she wraps her arms around Allison. Charlie smiles slightly until Renee comes rushing into the waiting room. Her plane from Jacksonville, Florida arrived in Phoenix not even an hour ago and she came straight to the hospital while Phil - Renee's husband - goes to get them a motel room.

"Maggie?" Renee gapes.

"Hey, Renee," Maggie greets softly.

"Hey, sweetie," Renee greets and she turns to Charlie. "Have you seen a doctor yet?"

"Not yet," Charlie replies. "We should soon, though."

Renee sighs and she nods. "Thank you for calling me when they called your."

"You're her mother," Charlie replies.

"Allison, let's go get some food while we wait for news," Maggie offers.

"Sure," Allison replies softly.

Maggie gives Renee a hug, she has missed her some. When they break apart, Maggie and Allison head to the hospital's cafeteria.

Maggie goes to Bella's hospital room after Charlie and Renee finish visiting. Edward is standing by the window, but Maggie easily ignores him.

"Hey, Bells," Maggie greets as she sits in the side of the bed. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, Maggie," Bella claims. "I heard from Charlie that Allison's here."

"Yeah, she wanted to be here for us," Maggie says.

"I think Charlie..."

"Dad..."

"Dad..." Bella murmurs. "I believe that dad likes Allison."

"How do you know that?" Maggie asks with interest.

"I'll leave you two alone," Edward says and he steps outside of the room, closing the door behind him but listens in.

"His eyes light up when he talks about her," Bella states.

"That's sweet!" Maggie squeals. "Allison would be so good for dad. He deserves to be happy again after Renee left."

"Why don't you call her mom?" Bella asks.

"Why don't you call dad 'dad'?" Maggie counters.

"Touché," Bella mutters. "Do you like anybody yet?"

Maggie sighs as she lays beside Bella. "No."

Maggie and Bella haven't bonded like this since they were around fourteen, which was the last time Maggie spent a summer with her in California. They talked boys and parents and school grades and friends.

"Seeing your fight with Edward scares me," Maggie admits as Edward leans against the wall outside. "I want to meet someone."

"I know," Bella replies.

"I'm seventeen and I've never had a boyfriend," Maggie reminds Bella. "Seeing that fight... and you leaving... it scares the hell out of me."

"Edward and I don't fight like that all the time, not all couples do," Bella claims. "You will find the one who will love you like Edward loves me."

"Maybe," Maggie replies. "Allison's in complete remission."

"That's amazing," Bella replies as Edward finally walks away. "So, about your prom dress..."

Maggie laughs and the jumps into telling Bella how perfect she thinks her prom dress is.
