Maggie is pacing in a clearing with Sam, Embry, and Jared. They just emerged where Jacob and Bella are now. Bella followed Jacob, for some reason. Maggie is livid because Jacob more than likely shared something that gave them away. She's so mad that even Paul is kind of scared to touch her.

"What the hell have you done?!" Maggie finally snaps as she glares fiercely at Jacob.

"I didn't tell her," Jacob declares defensively, kind of nervous because of Maggie's anger. "You'd known if I did."

"She's here, isn't she?" Paul asks, he's pissed but he's a bit calmer than Maggie.

"Bella, there's nothing to see here," Sam claims. "You should go home."

"Not until I know what did you Jacob," Bella demands.

Maggie takes a threatening step forward, Sam watches her cautiously. "Whay did we do?" She asks calmly, sending chills through Paul.

Jacob quickly moves in between his pack sister and Bella.

"Both of you, calm down..." Sam warms in his alpha voice.

"Sam, she knows things about the blood suckers," Jacob says. "She's been on the inside. She can help..."

"Like a leach lover's gonna help us," Maggie scoffs, she's not pleased with the Cullens for leaving - so she has Paul's disliking of them.

"Watch what you call her," Jacob growls at Mags.

"Get a grip, guys...."

Paul bites his knuckles as he watches his imprint shake angrily, nearly convulsing. Bella looks unnerved, like Paul did when he met Charlie.

"It's alright, Jacob," Bella breathes, "I'll go..."

"All you care about is her!" Maggie hisses. "She threw me out the instant she knew I wasn't blood and you still LOVE HER!?" She yells as steam rolls off her body.

"Maggie, back off!" Sam commands.

"She doesn't give a crap about you, or me! Why do you think I have..."

Jacob cuts Maggie's hateful words off by shoving her hard. She flies back.

"Jacob..." Sam mutters as Paul backs away, knowing not to get in the way of a pissed off Maggie - she looks scarier than him when mad.

Maggie slowly rises, even angrier than before. She throws her back and a mightily growl leaves her throat.

"Too late," Jared mutters from beside Embry.

"Bella, get back!" Sam demands.

Maggie phases in front of Bella, her clothes ripping. She crouches down and gets ready to pounce. Jacob ignores a horrified Bella as she pleads for him to run. Instead of running as the human begs, Jacob dives into the air and he phases before he attacks Maggie.

Sam sighs, he knew that one of these days Maggie's temper would get the best of her. When Paul first phased, he thought he would have trouble out of him because Anne told him all about Paul's temper that he got from Ronnie but then he learned Maggie was his full blood sister and she has his father's terrible shifter temper, and she became the unsteady hothead in the pack.
