Maggie gazes at herself in her door mirror on the night of prom. She's just gotten into her dress after curling her brown hair and applying some light makeup. She's never felt more like a princess than she does now.

Maggie walks downstairs and Allison's jaw drops when she sees Maggie walk downstairs. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Charlie's eyes glossed with tears. Both Charlie and Allison immediately forget about Edward sitting st the dining table, who is waiting for Bella to come down.

"Wow," Allison gushes. "Oh, Magdalynn, you look ravishing!"

"I look like a princess, right?" Maggie asks with a smile.

"A brunette Cinderella," Allison finishes. "Can I... um, Can I take a picture?"

Maggie nods and she stands beside Charlie, Allison takes her picture. Maggie then goes out to her Jeep and she drives to Jared's to pick him up for prom. Joshua watches from his house, his eyes water at how gorgeous Maggie looks in her dress as she walks up to the door.

Amanda's eyes widen when she sees Maggie. Jared tenses as he hears...

"I'm here to pick up Jared," Maggie says. "Prom."

Amanda's stomach drops. "He asked me to give you this and to tell you he changed his mind."

Maggie opens the note.

Maggie,
I'm sorry. Really. But this friendship is over. And I'm not going to the prom with you anymore.

Maggie inhales deeply, her breath shaky. Jared leans against his wall, trying his best not to cry at the sound of Maggie's emotions.

Maggie then exhales. "Fine. I'll go alone."

"You do look beautiful, Maggie," Amanda coos. "Like a princess."

Maggie nods as she mentally thanks Allison for using waterproof mascara and eyeliner as a tear falls. She just lost one of her best friends.

Maggie turns away and she goes to her Jeep. Jared watches from the door with a broken expression as Maggie shares a smile with Joshua. Maggie drives to the venue where the prom's being held and she inhaled before she struts in like the Queen she should be.

Alice's eyes light up in awe as she sees Maggie walk in, her head held high. Rosalie smiles respectfully. The fact that Maggie can come to the prom alone and still have her head held up, it has earned Rosalie's respect. Jasper smiles a little to himself.

"She looks so good!" Alice chirps.

"Like a queen," Rosalie says, earning a surprised look from her mate, Alice, and Jasper. "Head held high, not letting the effects of being alone bother her. I respect her."

"Atta girl," Emmett coos as he kisses her cheek.

Maggie smiles as she sees the couples. Mike and Jessica. Eric and Angela. Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett, Tyler and Lauren. When a slow song comes in, Jasper pecks Alice on the cheek as he twirls her into the floor as Emmett does the same with Rosalie.

Maggie sighs, suddenly feeling alone. She wanders over to the punch bowl and she grabs a cup. She's stopped by a cold hand. She looks up to see Edward.
