Maggie stands in a black bikini, looking over the cliff. A boost of energy hit her like a tidal wave as soon as she woke up this morning. She pushed the thoughts of that vampire to the back of her mind so she can focus on diving.
Paul, Jared, Embry, and Sam are all in their denim cut off shorts Emily and Sue made for them. Jared and Paul are pushing Embry toward the edge, who is struggling but laughing. Maggie smiles, she loves when her imprint and her pack brothers roughhouse.
Embry gets an upper hand. He and Paul end up shoving Jared off of the cliff, instead of Embry going over. Maggie laughs out loud but she halts as she spots a familiar truck.
"Oh, my god!" Bella's voice gasps. "Stop them!"
"There's Bella," Maggie says to her brother and points to the truck. "And Jacob."
Maggie watches as Paul and Embry jump and she turns to her brother. Sam nods and the siblings walk over to the edge. Bella's jaw unhinges when she sees her.
"Is that... Maggie!?" Bella exclaims.
"She's Sam's bio sister," Jacob replies. "Didn't Charlie tell you that when he said she was adopted?"
"No, only that she was adopted," Bella replies as she watches as Sam and Maggie dive together. "She looks happy."
"She's in Sam's cult," Jacob claims. "How can she be?"

"What was Bella doing with Jake?" Embry asks.
"Don't know, he might make her feel whole again," Maggie replies with a shrug. "She's been... different since the Cullens left Washington. She went months without showering, stayed in her room unless it was to use the bathroom... unless it was me, Charlie, or mom bringing her food... she wouldn't have eaten. She seems more lively. Didn't you meet her once?"
"Yeah, shortly before I phased and at the beach that day," Embry replies. "You got hotter when you phased."
"I know," Maggie replies. "I'm gonna go do my homework. I put it off all weekend and I have school tomorrow."
"Go and do it!" Sam demands. "And don't put it off again."
Maggie rolls her eyes. "Tell that to that damned blood sucker."
Paul smirks proudly of his imprint's vocabulary choice. Maggie kisses his cheek before she runs upstairs. Mags changes into some dry clothes first and then she works on her homework.
A/N: I'm sorry for the short chapter. Still need some good fillers until Bella finds out and meets the pack. Oh, and on an unrelated not, my 24th birthday is one month from today.
