"Wait!" Carlisle yells as Victoria jumps the treaty line. "She's in their territory."

"She'll get away!" Rosalie exclaims.

Jasper smirks. "No, she won't."

The wolves show up on the other side, Maggie is ahead slightly. Jasper knows who she is because she's solid white. She's closer in color to Leah's wolf, but Leah has some silver in her fur. Paul soon makes it to Maggie's side and Victoria, feeling scared of the sudden presence of the wolves, jumps over to the Olympic territory.

"All ours now," Emmett boosts as Maggie falls in line with Sam and Jared.

The Cullens begin to close in on Victoria. Emmett grabs her shoulders and her hair and they roll over a couple of times. Victoria uses the momentum to her advantage and she throws Emmett into a tree. She splits and she jumps the land again. Seeing red, Emmett follows.   

"Emmett, don't!" Esme cries.

Paul turns abruptly to face the vampire in their land. Sam keeps Maggie back because he knows she's friends with Emmett and she's in love with Paul. Paul lets out a bravado growl, making Emmett smile.

'God, this is child's play for Emmett,' Maggie comments and Jared snorts. 'He's always looking for a fight.'

Jared shakes his wolf head as Paul and Emmett charge at each other. Maggie and Rosalie meet eyes, both looking annoyed.

"You're still our friend, right?" Rosalie asks her.

Maggie nods her wolf head and she turns to the other two. Rosalie actually laughs as the wolf smirks and she charges at the two, she wants to play. Sam shakes his head and he finds a bush and he exits in shorts, knowing Victoria has fine gotten away.

"Maggie wanted to play," Sam tells Carlisle.

Carlisle laughs. "I see that."

"I needed to talk to you about something," Sam says and Jacob's ears perk up. "Maggie's temper pretty bad already and with one of our wolves, he's really stubborn and it's not good for her sanity. If our council members give the okay, could Maggie join your coven? It would be the best thing for her mental state. Paul doesn't want to see her go, neither do I, but it's for her sanity."

"Let us talk about it," Carlisle replies to the wolf as Rosalie grows giddy about having her wolf friend living with them in Forks. "But I'm sure it would be alright as long as your council and elders are okay with it."

"Thank you," Sam says. "Now I better go break this fight apart before Maggie gets carried away."

Sam smiles at each coven member before he phases and he runs after Paul, Emmett, and Maggie. Jared looks across the ravine and he spots Rosalie studying the wolves. Jared takes off running after his alpha; Jacob, Quil, and Embry follow behind them.

"We wait for Edward to come back and we discuss Maggie's joining us," Carlisle informs his family.

"Of course, my dear," Esme coos. "Personally, I'd love to have Maggie as apart of us."

"Me too!" Rosalie says loudly, raising her hand, making Jasper chuckle a little. "Maggie has my respect and has had it since the prom."

Esme smiles proudly at Rose. "That's good, Rosalie."

"You want me to, WHAT!?" Maggie yells at Sam, the pack stands back as Sam and Maggie stand in each other's personal bubbles at the house, in the back yard.

"It's better for your state of mind, because of how mad you get at Jacob," Sam says calmly, yet sternly. "If he was to piss you off with his stubbornness and you phase in PUBLIC, the pack would be screwed."

"I can control my temper in public, Sam, you know this!" Maggie argues, her eyes filling with tears. "You're wanting me to leave Paul?"

Sam flinches.

"Would you ever leave Emily?" Maggie asks with a shaky voice.

"If it was the best thing for me and getting a better control of my temper, yes, I would," Sam replies honestly. "If it would have prevented me from harming my imprint, yes, I'd have left. But Maggie, there's no going back for me. Hurting Em cleared my brain and calmed my temper immensely. You need to be grounded and the Cullens can help you greatly. I know you don't want to leave Paul, but you need this and I'm not taking no for an answer if the Cullens and the council agree. If they say yes, you're going! It's not your choice," Sam declares.

Maggie looks at Sam tearfully. "And Embry is now my favorite brother," she whispers as she storms upstairs, and she throws herself into her bed and she sobs.
