When we all got back to the Black Army headquarters, I immediately locked myself up in my room, prepared for a long night of magic casting.

Sure, I was still tired from before, but I heard that coffee keeps people awake and energized! I've never tried it before though, since it was always too bitter for me. But maybe if I shove a bunch of sugar cubes inside, it'll be better.

Coffee actually isn't half bad if it was sweetened extensively.

I had asked Sirius earlier for a bunch of old shirts that he might have that he wouldn't mind me cutting up. He was the tallest of all the members that I'm close to, so that's why I asked him. His shirts should be the biggest!

Sirius was confused at first, but I reassured him that it was a little parting gift for tomorrow. And with that, he had handed me a few old shirts, with me promising that I wouldn't stay up too late.

But he didn't specify what his version of too late was!~

My version of too late, for me at least, is getting only five minutes of sleep for the whole day. So, I should be fine. I'll get six minutes of sleep!

Just kidding, I think. Who knows, maybe I will be staying up all night to finish these up.

For the charms that I've decided on, it was gonna be a small pocket filled with sweet and warm cozy smells. I've gotten a few dried up herbs in my bag from when I'm stressed out. There's plenty to make five more smaller bags.

I hummed to myself as I enchanted the very fabric and threads that I was using, making sure that they were brimming with magic before I started. Some simple embroidery with hidden runes here, and a little flower hiding a defence spell there.

I even added a thin layer of calming magic to the herbs to make sure that they're useful in some way too!

Before I knew it, the sun was starting to rise as well. I had worked all the way through the night and barely gotten any rest. But I didn't want to lie if Sirius does ask if I got any sleep tonight, so I promptly closed my eyes and let my mind drift off.

When I blinked them open, I was in the field, yet again. It's been a while since I visited this place, and I could already see some major changes. For one, these pretty blue irises weren't here before. And neither were these amethyst blossoms. They look like Sirius' eyes.

The emblem of the Magic Tower was also engraved in the tree trunk, with a big red 'X' over top, warning me to not go near them. To stay away.

I just smirked slightly at the picture, waving my hand and erasing the 'X'. If Amon is in danger because of the Magic Tower, I will fight them to get my brother back.

Looking up at the sky, I could see that it was even cloudier. The storm was even closer, it was only a matter of time. The wind was harsh, whipping my hair this way and that. It was chaotic. I felt as though any moment now, it was going to rip the poor flowers right out from their roots. Some leaves even blew around in the wind. It felt like a tornado.

But the storm was going to pass, eventually. Hopefully. I narrowed my eyes at the dark rolling clouds, hoping to have some form of prediction of what might happen. Nothing. Not even a glimpse of the sun. Or the moon. It was just darkness.

With a sigh, I rubbed my fingertips on Sirius' necklace. This was my lucky charm. And I believe it'll protect me till the end, even if it wasn't enchanted with any special magic. It was just... there. And that itself was comforting enough for me.

Okay, so Fenrir's troops are supposed to go first, then followed by Luka and Seth. Ray and Sirius are staying back for now. Like a game of chess. The King and Queen are the most important, so they're protected at the headquarters.

Though Sirius is mostly staying back since he doesn't fight.

"Here you guys go," I said, handing the hand-stitched handmade lucky charms over to everyone. "I know it's not much, but it'll hopefully be enough! Lucky charms, you know!"

"Thank you, Alice," Seth beamed at me, hugging the tiny pouch to his chest. "I'll treasure it, always!"

"If you keep being so nice, I might just fall in love," Fenrir teased with a smirk.

"Thank you, it's beautiful," Luka smiled.

"Thanks, Emberlynn," Ray said, dangling it eye to eye. "Maybe with these, we'll even win the war."

"Is this why you wanted my shirts," Sirus asked, an eyebrow raised even though I'm sure he already knew the answer.

"Why didn't you ask me for my shirt," Fenrir pouted. "I have plenty that you can use!"

I let out a small giggle. "It's because Sirius is the tallest and the biggest, so I'll only need a few of his shirts. Besides, I'm not sure how you guys would feel about me cutting your stuff up."

"I would be fine with anything you do, Alice," Seth beamed.

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement, and I felt myself grow warm and fuzzy with happiness.

"Well then, I'll see you guys later?"

Everyone smiled and waved at me as they went off... but they didn't promise me anything. They didn't even answer my question. And I can't blame them. This all still feels so unreal. Like a dream. And I'll wake up any moment now to either find my friends dead, happy and well, or non-existent.

Soon enough, even Ray left to do his own thing.

"Woah, hey," Sirius said, leaning down in front of me. "Why are you crying, little lady?"

I blinked in confusion for a bit until he gently wiped away a stray tear. "O-Oh! I'm crying." I pulled away quickly, wiping my tears away. "S-Sorry."

Sirius just gave me a gentle smile, pulling me in for a nice, warm hug. "It's okay to cry sometimes, you know," he murmured into my ear, voice soft and soothing. "What kind of monster wouldn't cry with the thought of their friends in danger?"

I bit my lip as I forced the fuzzy feeling in my heart to die down, and for the butterflies in my tummy to shut up. "You aren't crying," I huffed. "Are you saying that you're a monster, Sirius?"

I felt Sirius smile sadly against my hair. "I am crying. Just not on the outside."

I nodded my head silently, squeezing Sirius tightly before letting go. "Now then, anything I can help out with around here?"

Sirius just patted my head. "Can I trust you with the flowers for today?"

"Roger that," I said, giving Sirius a cheerful salute before rushing to find the watering can and gardening supplies.
