26 - The Necklace

Chameleon was impressed.
He couldn't deny the hate he felt for his own kind and the effect it had on his opinion of Glory, but he couldn't deny that said dragonet impressed him either.
She wasn't as dumb, lazy and naive like the other RainWings and she wasn't weak, when she declared her will to become a good queen to save their Tribe from themselves, she had gotten the older dragon's attention and, maybe, a small part of him was slowly starting to respect her.
He had given her an affirmative answer even before consulting Scarlet, luckily the queen was interested in Glory's own plan.

<< This will make the dragonets even more loyal to us and with Glory as a queen, there is no way the RainWing won't be on our side. >>

Said the queen.
She and Chameleon went in the treasure room after dinner, enjoying what was their favorite activity: bathing in the golden coins and the jewels.

<< So, how are you going to help the dragonets with their plan? >>

Asked Scarlet while Chameleon enchanted a few scrolls with messages written on them, using the gold as a comfortable chair.

<< Very simple: once we interrogate the captured Talons of Peace and find the dragonets families, I'll go with them to meet their relatives, my powers might be useful to make sure no accident will come to our dragonets. >>

Praised him the queen while she petted his head like he was some sorta of dog.

<< Then we'll take care of the NightWings problem by making Glory the queen of RainWings and then, my enchanted scrolls will play their part. They'll fly straight to Blaze and Blister, wherever they'll be, telling them where and when to come. It's so simple it can't fail. >>
<< Don't worry, the plan won't fail, not if we're careful and you'll put your magic to good use. >>

Chameleon nodded silently, carefully rolling up the scroll for princess Blaze.

<< I still can't figure out how Blaze convinced Queen Glacier to fight by her side, what can a SandWing offer to the IceWings? The desert is far too hot for them, even the northern part. I mean, they sweat like they're about to melt just when they enter the ring in my arena! >>

Said Scarlet and Chameleon giggled.

<< Weak, so full of herself, Burn and her SandWings describe her as a stupid hatchling in a dragoness body, someone that will whine when someone else is prettier than her and would instantly cry in front of confrontation and... they said she's beautiful. >>
<< Exactly! Someone you can easily take advantage of, that is sexy and that can't offer anything more than burning sand? I know what Glacier asks her to do to keep the alliance. >>

Said the Rainwing rising two claws in front of his mouth and opening them in a "V" as his tongue slithered out of his "lips" and started moving in between the digits in a pretty obscene gesture.

Asked Scarlet laughing.
They had to stop pretty soon since Peril entered the room right in that moment and the two didn't want to be seen in a compromising position, after all, a dragon mimicking a cunnilingus at the queen could have been pretty dubious to see.

With Peril getting closer to the dragonets, Scarlet had decided to use her even more, to spy on them and carry her words when she needed to keep them in check.
Of course that meant making Peril able to get closer to them faster and what could strengthen a friendship faster than playing together and being able to feel each other?
