<< Come, I know the perfect dragoness to show you around. >>

Smiled Peril as she guided the dragonets to a tavern she knew was usually frequented by the dragon she was searching.

<< Why can't you show us around? >>

Asked Tsunami.

<< I'm not allowed to enter a few places, you know, because of my Firescales. It's better for your guide to be someone that won't destroy the library or scare the dragonets in the Wingery. >>
<< Wingery? >>
<< You'll see. >>

Once they reached the place, they were welcome by the eyes of every SkyWing in the tavern.
Some whispered to each others, others were just staring curiously at them and the rest was too busy avoiding Peril's gaze to care for the dragonets of the prophecy.

<< That's her. >>

The bright and fuming dragonet pointed at a young SkyWing dragoness who's scales were of an orange so pale they looked yellow as a peach's inside, her dark orange eyes looked strangely innocent, like staring at a young dragonet still had to get out of her nest and explore the world.

<< Hey Pyrite! >>

The dragoness jumped a little when Peril called her name, looking at her carefully and trying to hide her fear.

<< Yes? >>
<< My friends here would like a tour of our the place. >>
<< Oh, then I fear you came to the wrong dragon. >>

Said Pyrite turning back to a cup in her paws as she fidgeted with it.

<< I'm not good with directions, I'll end up getting all of us lost. >>
<< In your own home? >>

Asked Glory, her voice half-filled with incredulity and annoyance for the other half.

<< Ye- >>
<< Pyrite, don't start again. >>

Said a SkyWing they hadn't notice at first.

<< Oh Eagle! >>

Eagle gave Pyrite a friendly nudge with his snout.

<< You should seriously stop thinking of yourself that way. >>
<< But- >>
<< No "buts". >>

The dragonets exchanged uncomfortable looks, hoping to ask Peril for someone else as the other two SkyWings kept their argument going.
At least until Pyrite stopped Eagle grabbing his snout with a paw and smiling.

<< Then you can come with us and help me shoe these dragonets around! >>
<< Oh no, I have duties to attend as a soldier. >>
<< Come on Eagle! >>

Screamed another SkyWing sitting a few tables on the right.

<< Don't let your girlfriend down! >>
<< Yes Eagle! Be a gentledragon! >>

The soldier shot his friends a death glare, then turned back to Pyrite, Peril and the dragonets.

<< Follow me and be glad I've still got time before I have to go back to work. >>
<< Thank you! >>

<< I don't get why I have to meet those brats. >>
<< Because, my dear Burn, we need to keep on this mask with them and keep them on our side. >>

Said Scarlet for the third time in that day.

<< No underage lizard who spent their entire dragonethood in a cave will tell me when I die and what I bow to. Nor will a fairytale. >>

Growled the SandWing.

<< I know you don't believe in the prophecy, but if the other queens do, then they might accept you and stop supporting your sisters if the dragonets choose you. >>
<< Scarlet is right and why am I here? >>

Asked Queen Moorhen while she shared some gossip with Chameleon.

<< 'cause we need you to back us up and tell them what a great ruler Burn is. >>
<< And they should believe I'm being objective? >>

Asked the MudWing, not exactly that impressed with the SkyWing's plan.

<< Well, do you have any better idea? >>
<< I do. >>

Said Chameleon.

<< Let's enchant them! >>
<< I second the RainWing. >>

Queen Scarlet was tempted to let Chameleon do as he told, but she had to keep in mind that an animus was still an animus: a glass full of water and every spell was a drop closer to overflow.

<< I already made him enchant two dragons, you know how delicate an animus's soul is. If I let him go crazy I won't have an animus anymore and I won't have a psycho-magical-thing running around with myself as an easy target. >>
<< Psycho-magical-master, if you please. >>

Ignoring Chameleon's tone, the orange queen called for her guards.

<< Bring the Dragonets of Destiny to me, they should be having a tour of our kingdom right now. >>
<< Yes, Your Majesty. >>
<< Hopefully they'll be easy to find. >>

Queen Moorhen thought about the most interesting places to visit in the SkyWing kingdom.

<< They're probably in the Wingery, little dragonets are just so cute! >>
<< Ah! Please! Who would ever wish to surround themselves with those whiny brats? >>

~~~~
<< Aw! You're so cute! >>
<< Sunny, you say that to every dragonet you meet. >>
<< This one is special! >>
The five friends were visiting the Wingery and had been swarmed by curious dragonets as soon as they entered the place.
Clay was being used like scavengers used horses and was trotting around the place with a flock of squealing little ones on his back; Tsunami and Starflight were busy trying to keep the younglings off them as they answered their many questions (especially Starflight, who was being "targeted") and Sunny and Glory were enjoying the attention, the first one trying to reach her goal of hugging every single one of the youngest dragonets in there and the second one putting on a show of changing her look for them as they asked for their own look or that of a parent.
<< Should I come in and save you? I think you've become the little things' obstages. >>
Laughed Pyrite while watching the scene with affection.
<< Nah, we're fine. >>
<< Yes, if someone needs us, tell them we're busy! >>
<< Got it~ >>
