It was early in the morning and still dark out.
No matter how tired Sunhee gets the day before, she would be up and awake way before sunrise. Her body was already tuned in to the early hours of working that it became a daily habit. Hoseok was still sleeping soundly when she carefully made her way from the bed and started her daily routine. She was already working at her desk for an hour when Hoseok went and hugged her from behind.
"Good morning," he greeted with the trace of sleepiness from his voice.
Sunhee turned and kissed his cheek and hugged his arms around her. "Good morning."
"What are you working on?" asked Hoseok as he looked at Sunhee's laptop, the documents and pictures scattered on the desk.
"Just writing down the recipes that I was experimenting. Did I wake you?" she turned her chair and looked at his sleepy face. His hair was still tousled from the bed and he was barely opening his eyes.
"No," he yawned. "I can't sleep anymore."
"Really? You look like you could use few more hours of that," replied Sunhee. "You could just sleep in if you're free this morning. I know that is really hard to come by."
"I would if you join me there," suggested Hoseok. He was trying to get his seductive mode on but it was ruined when he yawned again.
"You're still sleepy," pointed Sunhee.
"I'll survive. Do you have anything to do today other than preparing the starter in the evening?" he asked.
"Nothing that can't wait. Why?"
"I want to take you somewhere."
"And that would be?" prompted Sunhee.
"It's a surprise," he said before kissing her and made his way to the bathroom.
"Do you want anything for breakfast before we go?" asked Sunhee as he went.
Hoseok turned and winked at her. "You?"
Which earned a crumpled paper thrown at him. "Darn cheesy and clichéd, Jung Hoseok-ssi," exclaimed Sunhee. He just laughed.
They went out after that to a residential area that Sunhee identified too well. It was the building where his apartment was located.
"What are you up to now?" asked Sunhee as he drove to the basement parking of the building.
"We're having breakfast," he said.
Sunhee looked at him sceptically.
"Don't give me that look," he said as he switched off the car ignition. "Come on," he went out and opened her door.
"Is it okay for us to be here?" asked Sunhee.
"Do you trust me on this?" he countered as he offered his hand.
"Okay then," she replied, putting her hand in his as they went to the lift.
He instructed her to close her eyes when they reached the door. Sunhee was led inside and he helped her to switch her shoes for the indoor slipper.
"Can I look now?" asked Sunhee.
"Hold on," said Hoseok.
"You're not planning on anything weird now, are you?" she asked again.
"Okay, open your eyes," he said.
Sunhee did, and what she saw made her jaw drop. Sunhee looked at him, clearly speechless at what she was looking at and that man was recording her. She was too astounded to even tell him to stop.
