Sunhee was tired as she put her backpack on the coffee table. She hanged her jacket and laid on the sofa. She didn't think she had enough energy to do anything else after being on her feet for hours and shouted her heart out. She then had to fight for the ride back home.
The train service was great. Despite the size of the crowd at the station, she was able to get home after the concert. She only had to wait for her turn. When she did, the train was packed and she didn't manage to get a seat in it.
She was practically dragging her feet as she reached her door. Years of standing and baking didn't prepare her enough for what she had gone through that night. To her, it was all worth it. It was just great that her off day was on Monday. She could just laze around until it's time to feed the starters in the evening.
Sunhee managed to get 2 tickets to the BTS concert and that was way before the misunderstanding. She didn't tell Hoseok about it, wanting to keep it as a surprise. She originally planned to go there with Haewon, but Haewon was sick. She was thinking about just going alone but when she thought about how hard it was to get the ticket, she put it up for sale in a forum so that an ARMY would get the chance to watch the show.
She was contacted in just seconds after the post was up. The person who she sold the ticket to was a woman the same age as her. She admitted to Sunhee that she learnt to fight for a ticket at a forum from her middle school students. Sunhee could say they both hit up at once and they both promised to keep in touch even after the concert ended.
Sunhee turned her head and sat as she took the rolled poster out from her backpack. She was surprised when the staff stopped her as she was about to make a move when the concert ended. She didn't know what was on it as she was just thinking about getting on the train and go home. She unrolled the poster and was shocked to see Hoseok's face looking back at her. Sunhee couldn't believe her eyes. It was even signed.
I ♥ you,
J-Hope
Did he know she was coming?
She shook her head. She didn't think so. If he did, he wouldn't sign off using his stage name, would he? She knew how his formal signature looks like and she doubted he would use it on anything unofficial.
Sunhee sobered up.
It had been a week and a half since he gave her the time to think. The last message she read from him was the one when he wished her to drive safe from Odaesan. She didn't check her messages after that. It wasn't because she wanted to get away from him. She just wanted to keep her head clear before she came to her decision.
She looked at the clock. It was really late. She already gave it enough thought as she picked her phone and called him up. She just hoped that he hadn't gone to bed yet.
"Yes?" he answered at the second ring.
Sunhee looked at her phone again, making sure she dialled the correct number. He sounded so business-like.
"Let's talk," returned Sunhee using the same formal tone as his.
"Okay," replied Hoseok as he ended the call.
Sunhee looked at her phone again in confusion. She didn't say where and when before he hung up on her. Sunhee jumped in surprise as her doorbell rang after she changed her clothes. She blinked at the door. She quickly rolled the poster on the coffee table back and put it in the bag. She set it aside and went to the intercom in a daze.
True enough, Hoseok was at the door in his casual clothing. She wondered how the heck did he managed to get there that quick. It was concert night after all. Then again, he had the advantage of being driven away in the company car as compared to her who had to wait to get out of the stadium, walked to the station and waited for the train to come along as she lined up with a huge crowd of ARMY.
