Sunhee's jaws dropped in horror and everyone stopped talking at once. The silence was deafening and they could hear a pin drop.

"Eomma!" Sunhee looked at her mom in disbelief and looked around her after her mom dropped the bomb. Haewon just blinked her eyes at Sunhee in panic and Younha covered her face as she knew only the circle of Sunhee's friends knew about the relationship.

Sunhee looked at the rest of the staff. Jo Mi Cha looked shocked and Sunhee was greeted by the sight of Choi Yong putting her hand out to both Sehun and Dowon. The guys begrudgingly took a few bills out of their wallets and put them in Choi Yong's hand. Choi Yong pocketed the money smugly and smirked at the guys.

"I told you so," Choi Yong said.

"Hold on. You guys were betting on my relationship?" asked Sunhee.

"Well, these guys were talking about you and Jung sajangnim and saying how cool you were by staying professional with Jung sajangnim being who he is. I kind of guessed what was going on and these guys said it was kind of impossible for that to happen," explained Choi Yong.

"Impossible?" Sunhee's eyes went to slit as she looked at Dowon and Sehun. "Do explain what that means?" asked Sunhee and her tone was chilling. They were fidgeting guiltily.

"No offence, sajangnim but I was there when you dumped a few guys back then," defended Sehun. "And I never saw you date anyone for a long time."

"It doesn't mean I've sworn off men forever," said Sunhee.

"And we never actually see Jung Sajangnim stepped his foot at the bakery. You're all business with him. The only time we saw you saw him was when you do delivery and that was about it," said Dowon.

"And you actually missed the part when both of them would be gone from the crowd when we're serving food," said Choi Yong drily.

"They did?" asked Sehun. "I didn't realize that."

"You didn't tell me that," said Dowon to Choi Yong.

"Why should I tell you when you guys put ₩100,000 at stake?" replied Choi Yong.

"And you told me I have bad acting skills," Sunhee rolled her eyes.

"Sorry to say this, sajangnim, you're still bad at it. These guys just can't tell the difference between bad and good ones. But you're good at covering up." Everyone laughed at Choi Yong's dead-panned expression.

"If that's a compliment, thank you," said Sunhee as she looked at Choi Yong unamused. Just then another visitor came in. It was Jaesuk.

"Sunhee-ssi, I just heard the news," said Jaesuk as he went to the crowd.

Jaesuk greeted everyone in the room and he did a double-take when he saw Younha. It was as if he didn't expect her to be there at all.

"Sunhee-ssi, I have to take my leave. Take care. I'll call you up," said Younha all of a sudden as she made her move.

"Thank you so much for coming, Younha," returned Sunhee. Younha went out in a flash.

"I brought this for you, Sunhee-ssi," said Jaesuk, passing her a bag of collagen drink. "I can't stay long too. Hope you will recover soon," he said before taking his leave and bowed to everyone in the ward. He was gone as quick as he came.

Sunhee looked at Haewon in question. "What's going on between those two?" asked Sunhee.

"Jaesuk finally caught up?" guessed Haewon.

"About time he did," commented Sunhee.

Everyone was talking around her and Sunhee could hear her mom pestering Sehun for the video until more visitors came in. It was Hoseok, carrying a bouquet of Snickers with Jungkook trailing after him.

Hoseok and Jungkook greeted everyone and Jo Mi Cha was star struck. This was her first encounter with her other boss and he brought another famous friend with him. The other staff were already acquainted with them and they greeted them cordially.

Hoseok paused as he looked at Sunhee and then at the Snickers bouquet he brought wondering if that was a dead giveaway on their relationship.

Sunhee could almost read his thoughts. "Come on in, Hoseok-ssi. My mom just spilt to everyone here about us," said Sunhee. "A warning to everyone, what happens here, stays here. And I do need to remind you guys on the new contract you signed last month that included a non-disclosure clause in it," she eyed the rest of the staff. It was received with a collective of murmurs about trust and secret among them.

"They are your colleague. They're like a family," chided her mom.

"Thank god you didn't bring flowers, Jung sajangnim," said Sehun. "She dumped a guy years ago just because he gave her roses," said Sehun.

"Really? Didn't he know she's allergic to roses?" asked Hoseok.

"Obviously not," answered Sunhee.

"Lucky me, then," said Hoseok.

"My word of advice, Sehun, don't just assume all girls like flowers."

"Same here," joined in Choi Yong. "You can't eat them," she continued and then Dowon objected to her and talked about flowers being used as edible garnishing.

"How are you?" asked Hoseok to Sunhee as he gave her the bouquet.

"I'm okay. The doc is going to do the final check in a couple of hours before he could discharge me. Thanks for this. I love it," beamed Sunhee.

"You and your Snickers bars," Sunhee's mom shooked her head.

"Hi Jungkook," said Sunhee.

"Hi, noona. Glad you're okay," said Jungkook. "You were so cool when you did what you did. Did you learn MMA?" he gushed.

"Well, I learnt a bit of everything. How did you know that?" Sunhee was puzzled at the remark and looked at Hoseok for an answer.

"He saw the video and you got a fan," explained Hoseok.

"Oh, babe, why do you have to bring that word up again?" Sunhee groaned and buried her face in her palm as the video was mentioned.

"What word?" Hoseok looked at her in confusion.

"Hoseok-ah, be a dear and show me the video," instructed Sunhee's mom. It did sound like an order to everyone's ears.

"Wow, this is the first time the whole staff got together. Let's take a picture of everyone here," jumped Haewon into the rescue.

"Haewon-ssi, this is a hospital, not the bakery," pointed Dowon.

"We can photoshop the background," said Haewon. "It's hard to get Jung sajangnim to come during operation hours anyway."

"That's true," said Sehun.

"Let me take the picture for you," offered Jungkook.

They posed for several pictures and before long, it became an impromptu photography session with Jungkook being his critical self behind the phone lens. He took a lot using Hoseok's phone until he was satisfied with the shots he had.

"I have to go," said Hoseok after a while. "Call me when you get discharged. I'll be here."

"You don't have to come and pick me up. I can go home with, eomma," assured Sunhee.

"I'll be here," said Hoseok firmly.

"Fine," Sunhee relented. It was kind of useless to stand her ground with everyone around her.

Hoseok and Jungkook took their leave and Sunhee's mom called Hoseok as he was about to reach the door.

"Don't forget to send me the video, Hoseok-ah," reminded Sunhee's mom. "I'll message you if you forget."

Hoseok gulped as he looked at the determined mother and the daughter who shot him a warning look.

What did he get himself into?
