I ran a hand through my hair while a million thoughts went through my mind

I took my phone out and call Trigger

"Yea boss" he answered on the first ring

"Unu leave out a di town yet?" I asked

"Nuh yet we soon lef ya now though, yuh want sump else?" He asked

"Bring mi 2 pregnancy test kit the most accurate one" I told him running my free hand through my hair

"Okay we a forward" he replied and I hang up

"Suh yuh lie a suh yuh wicked mi can't believe nothing wa come out a yuh mouth" I lashed out at her while my heart ran a marathon

A few minutes later I was pacing the room when force ripe and trigger walked in with the stuffs

He handed me the pregnancy test and I took it and told him to loose her from the chair which he did

"Piss pon dem ya" I told her handing the tests to her

She took it and went to the bathroom

I was still pacing the room five minutes later when she returned from the bathroom crying holding both test in her hand

"Put dem dung pon di dresser" I told her

After she put the tests down I walked over to the dresser and look at them

Taking out my phone I dial aunty Whitney

"How is everything?" She answered

"Is there a way to find out if you father an unborn child?" I asked her

"There is, why are you asking me this? please tell mi yuh nuh breed sumady else Theodore. Aria just have baby"

"Aunty yuh know how fi do dat particular test?" I asked

"I don't but I have a friend who do it abroad, it's also expensive" she told me

"Could you call him and ask how soon I can get one done please, I'll even pay for a speedy process" I said now sitting at the edge of the queen size bed

"Theodore I don't like how your sounding what's going on what have you gotten yourself into?" She asked

"Aunty please you can just mek the call fi mi an link mi back?" I asked

"Okay give me ten minutes" she said hanging up

"Tie her back fi mi" I said to none of them in particular and force ripe put her to sit then tie her back

My mind was so far away, I heard his question but I didn't answer him

He had a valid point but the baby is innocent in all of this and if it is indeed mine I can never hurt her

Once outside I went to my car and made a gum spliff. Lighting it up and taking a puff I then exhale trying to release the turmoil within my brain and my heart but it was no use

My phone ring pulling me from my thoughts

"Yes Aunty?' I answered

"If you can make it to Los Angeles by next week, he can squeeze you in for an appointment" she said

"Next week is too far now, how about tomorrow?" I asked

"He is fully booked for the rest of the week" she said

"I'll pay him handsomely for the inconvenience" I said

"That would be a whole lot of money Theodore, what's really going on?" She asked

"Can you call him and let him know that I'm willing to pay whatever to get this test done tomorrow please then send me his number?"

"Okay I'll make the call now, I'll call you back" she said and hang up.

I really can't wait for a week to hear if my life is indeed ruin.

I called Kemar

"Why pree everything good?" I asked him as he answered the phone

"Yea mon location dem secure but da bowy deh a parliament son" he said
