After 3 painfully long weeks, Nova was finally healed. She was back home safe. Her mother, Daybreak, was equally relieved. One evening, Nova called, "Mother, I'm going outside to hunt." Daybreak called back, "You can go, but wait a second, I want to tell you something." Nova turned around. Daybreak smiled, "Queen Glory has presented all the Rainwing and Nightwing dragonets with a wonderful opportunity." Nova cocked an eyebrow. A wonderful opportunity, huh? Yeah right. Her mother frowned. Nova scolded herself for forgetting a crucial fact: her mother was a mindreader. "Sorry." Nova started thinking about the most random things she could. Sloths! Trees! Leopard! Glory! Scrolls! Wait- she blushed furiously, aware that she had messed up. Her mother smirked. Nova quickly changed the subject, "So what was this wonderful opportunity?" Daybreak's smile faded, "As I was saying, I know you haven't exactly been enjoying living here..." Nova hesitated. "Yeah." Daybreak continued, "And considering your last...incident, I thought it would be safer to send you." Nova was confused, "Send me where?" Daybreak face-taloned. "I'm sorry, I got ahead of myself. Queen Glory is selecting 1 lucky Rainwing and Nightwing to go to Jade Mountain Academy. And you're one of them." Nova stood there, surprised. "I'm going to school? And I'll be safe from dragons who try to hurt me?" Daybreak nodded. Nova grinned, "Awesome. When do we leave?" Her mother smiled back. "Tomorrow morning."
