Leopard's POV
Yes! Me and Nova get to go to art together! Leopard walked with a bounce in his step. I am SO happy. His scales were turning pink and yellow, and he didn't even try to stop it. Nova's really quiet. I hope she's ok. He asked, "Nova, are you ok?" Nova nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." Leopard wasn't convinced. "Hmm...I don't believe you." Nova chuckled, "How do you know me so well?" Leopard grinned, "I don't know. Now, tell me what's wrong." Nova looked at him from the corner of her eye, and said "It's just...I wish you were nicer to Serval." The grin slid off his face. Well, I was not expecting that. "What do you mean?" he asked. She replied, "You always just seem really angry at him, and he hasn't done anything, to you, at least." Leopard took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I'll be nicer to him." He shifted his wings. "I'm not angry at him. I guess I'm just being..." Nova finished his sentence, "Protective?" Leopard snapped his talons, "Yes! THAT was the word I was looking for." Nova laughed. She became serious again. "But why are you being protective? I can take care of myself!" Leopard replied, "I know that," It's one of the things I love about you. "It's because of what happened on the first day. I don't want you getting hurt." Nova rolled her eyes and scoffed, "He's not dangerous. He's really nice when you get to know him." What about me? They reached the art cave. "Oh my moons." Leopard exclaimed. "It's like a Rainwing EMOTED in her or something! I LOVE it!" Nova giggled. "You're so funny sometimes." Leopard put a talon to his chest, "Sometimes? How dare you!" he said with mock outrage. Nova burst into laughter, "Oh, come on, let's just go paint or something!" They each set up a canvas, and got out some paint. Leopard knew exactly what he wanted to paint. He moved his canvas so Nova couldn't see it, and he got started. "Aw, aren't you gonna show it to me?" Nova fake pouted. Leopard grinned, "When I'm done." Nova smiled back, and started working. Some time passed. How long has it been? Maybe we should wrap up. He added some final touches, and stood back to admire it. It was perfect.
