Nova walked away from the prey center and navigated her way through the thick crowd. She didn't know where she wanted to go next. Maybe the art cave? Or the music cave? "Nova, over here!" She heard a cheerful voice yell. She looked around and saw Angel waving frantically. Nova grinned and walked over to her. Everest, Amber, Hurricane, and Leopard were with Angel. Hurricane and Amber were talking and laughing. He definitely likes her, she smirked. Nova was about to walk away, but then she saw the look on Leopard's face. His scales were pulsing with red and black, which she knew meant anger, blue, which was sadness, and...olive? What did that color mean? He saw her looking at him, and looked away. "Leopard..." she whispered. Leopard looked back at her, "So how was your time with Serval?" He said bitterly. Nova was confused. "What are you talking about?" Leopard rolled his eyes, orange rolling through his scales at the same time. "You know exactly what I mean. You two were together in the prey center!" Nova was shocked. "So THAT'S why you're mad at me?! Three moons, I didn't take you for the jealous type!" she fumed. Leopard glared at her, "It's not that. I'm mad because you threw yourself into danger! You could've gotten hurt!" Nova glared back, "Why are YOU mad? How does it even affect you?!" Leopard yelled, "DON'T YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I CARE ABOUT YOU?!" The corridor went quiet. Nova was taken aback, "W-what?" She looked around, and when she turned back to Leopard...he was gone.
