Heyyyyy I'm back. Sorry about the long break. A lot has been going on. For those of you that stuck with this book, thanks, I really appreciate it!!

Everest's POV

Angel let go of her. I wish she'd hug me more often. Everest's face warmed. What was THAT? She faced Leopard, "We're just friends. Right, Angel?" She turned to Angel, and she looked away. "Yeah, just friends." she said flatly. "Yeah, right. You two would be so cute together." Leopard teased. He elbowed Angel, "Admit it, you can't resist her." Angel swatted him playfully and grinned. "Shut up, squid-brain." Does she like him? She probably does. She probably sees me as a stiff, boring Icewing. She's a princess, for Arctic's sake! I could never live up to her. Everest sighed. "Well, we should get to work." Angel nodded and pranced away, "Follow meeeee!" The three were only a foot away from the cave when Everest realized something. "Wait!" she called. The others stopped. "What are we going to tell the teachers?" she continued. Angel sighed and shook her head. Everest looked down, abashed. I'm so stupid. Telling the teachers would just make things worse. Angel looked back at her, "That's true..." Leopard thought for a second, "Let's just sneak out." He said, with a crafty look on his face.

I'm so sorry for the short chapter, I'll try to make the next one long, but I rarely have time to input my writing here. Byeee.
