YAYYY I FINISHED ANOTHER CHAPTER!!

The tables were long and had plates of all kinds of food. Fruit, fish, meat. Serval grinned, "I wouldn't mind a few lizards!" Leopard wrinkled his snout in disgust and said, "No, thank you. I'd like to stick to fruit." Angel shook her head, "Everyone knows fish is the way to go." Everest nodded, "Definitely." Hurricane shrugged, and replied "I don't care what it is, as long as I can eat it." Amber smiled, "Same here. I'm not a picky eater." Serval turned to Nova, "What about you? What's your favorite?" Nova thought for a moment and said, "I love fruit, except for papaya," Leopard's jaw dropped. "How do you not like papaya?!" Nova shrugged, "I just don't. But let me finish. I love fruit, but I'll eat a bit of meat if I have to." They all ate quickly and quietly. Nova couldn't eat, though. Something was burning at the back of her mind. When she and Serval were flying back to the school, there had been something...she didn't know what, but something had been calling to her. Not out loud, but in a more soulful way. She needed to go back there. She sat there thinking about it, before Amber nudged her and whispered, "You good?" Nova nodded, and said "Yea, just tired." Amber looked at her with concern, "You should eat." Nova heeded her words, and started eating. After she was done eating, she shot out of her seat and ran outside.

She needed to find that place again. She closed her eyes and concentrated. Wait! She ran back to her cave. Her bag was still there, thankfully. She opened it and dug around until she found what she needed: a bracelet she had made with flowers when she was an even younger dragonet. It still fit, so she clasped it in her talons and whispered, "I enchant this bracelet to teleport me to wherever I say I need to go." Is the bracelet warming up? Or is just that my imagination? She took a deep breath and said, "I need to go back to the place I felt something calling me." She gasped. She felt her body heat up, and then cool down like she had plunged into cold, icy water. There was a buzzing sensation as her surroundings started to disappear, but not before she heard a voice, "Nova? Nova!" And she felt a warm talon wrap around her wrist. "No! Let go!" she cried. It was too late. The buzzing ended, and suddenly, she was in a desert. "Where are we?" she asked quietly. "This is near where I found you." Serval replied. Nova whirled around, "Why did you follow me?" Serval said meekly, "I thought you were in danger..." Nova softened at his guilty expression. "Well, for now, I'm fine." Serval looked around, "Why, no, how did you come here?" Nova laughed nervously, "Well, I had a bracelet in my bag from a few years ago, and I may have enchanted it...just maybe." Serval frowned, "Won't that affect your soul?" Nova shrugged, "It was a small spell, and I wasn't using it for anything bad, so I think I'm ok." Serval sighed, "Just...just be careful, ok?" Nova nodded, "I will." She closed her eyes and waited. After a few minutes, she opened one eye, and Serval was still there, and she wasn't getting anything. "Ok, this isn't working." she said. She flew up, and started looking around. Pretty soon, she had that feeling again. Like something was calling her. She dove down and landed smoothly. She picked up a handful of sand and said, "I enchant this handful of sand to lead me exactly to where that object is." Serval asked, "How do you know it's an object?" Nova replied, "Just a guess." The sand firmed up and started moving, as if to guide her. Soon enough, her foot hit something in the sand. She dropped the sand in her talon, and kneeled down. She cleared the sand, and her jaw dropped.

Yes cliffhanger >:)
