Tsukune had witnessed the entire thing from the edge of the forest. He then helped you get Moka back to the school, and it was there that he learned that the bus only came around once a month. Nor was there any phone service or Wi-Fi access. Even if he wanted to leave, he would have to wait a month. However, Tsukune's fear of discovery seemed to have dissipated in that time period. This was probably made easier by the "official" story. Word of the scuffle did eventually reach the school. But instead of an orc getting all but annihilated by a vampire with a mage present, the story was that Tsukune beat Seizou to a pulp. Perhaps this was just a way to save face for Seizou, in which case you and Moka were happy to play along with by saying nothing. Tsukune's secret surpassed your own in consequences. Or perhaps it was the way details get messed up in the game of gossip.
In any case, Tsukune and Moka managed to resolve the little screw up on Tsukune's part. Which was why Moka was more than eager to meet him outside of class every morning, at least partially because of his blood. Tsukune was now at ease with your presence. And Moka? She was somewhat shy but otherwise happy for you to be around.
This morning about one week in was no different from the rest. And that meant at least one daily annoyance in the form of the other guys and Moka. What was it that was so annoying? Open whistling, ogling and otherwise lusting after a somehow oblivious Moka. Or maybe she could it ignore it better. You were listening to your iPod with one ear bud in thankfully, negating the irritation somewhat. In time, she had spotted her breakfast item.
"Tsukune!" She cried out, leaping towards him and embracing him on landing.
"Good morning to you too Moka!" Tsukune smiled warmly at the sight, ignoring the griping of fellow guys. One thing that was obvious to you nowadays was the mutual crush brewing between those two. Now that would be great if it weren't for your own thoughts about a different version of Moka. Either this was a split personality or two different people in the same body. And since the latter was implied by Inner's words, that made things complicated, like how fair would it be for one to occupy the body for the majority of time. Man, this was weird.
"Let's go." Moka grabbed his hand and began running with him. You easily kept pace with the pair as you made your way to class until they slowed down to walk, presumably away from the losers. The two kept staring at one another... and saying their names.
"It's too much. See, I overslept and missed breakfast." Moka abruptly apologized before biting into Tsukune. He yelped out in response.
"Moka! I'm not your breakfast!" Tsukune protested. "Why won't you go for (F/n)?" Moka finished her feeding and joined Tsukune in glancing inquisitively in your direction. You shrugged in defeat.
"I mean..... I'm better suited to take the loss. But it's her call. Nice hicky by the way." Tsukune flared red in response.
"Okay, I might try that sometime. I h....... I remember how good it was." Moka commented. That stumble got your attention. It seems that the perception of two different people in the same body wasn't so far off. She was about to say "heard" was she not?
But the traditional signal to get class came with the bell. Upon hearing the warning, you placed my earbuds in their rightful place and began playing "Halo" on the way to class.
Timeskip
Curiously, the two friends you had at this school were not at lunch. Come to think of it, something seemed a little off. You could have sworn you saw lightning between Moka and another blue haired girl as Nekomine talked about feline related human literature (Nice priorities.). True, you would typically get to the cafeteria before they did, largely because you wanted to devour your own meals. Your father had taught you well in food preparation. And for all of that, especially with some workouts, you were still thin and actually becoming noticeably toned. The logic was simple. If you burned calories faster than you took them in, there was no need for concern.
