You and Moka informed the others of the plan. You would venture with Moka to the Northern Barrier and meet with her father. You were not sure what you would find waiting for you. What you did know was that you owed it to both Moka's.

You and Moka had managed to garner permission to be absent courtesy of Ruby, the method of how of course was a long story. After confirming attendance and then presenting the pass to Miss Nekomome, ignoring the harsh whispers speculating the couple's intentions, you and Moka left the classroom. The club members knew better however.

"Have fun storming the castle." Mizore deadpanned. Kurumu remained silent. In fact, she had been very quiet as of late, nor her usual cheery self. Then again with her crush on you, Moka's presence kept her away. She was a friend, but your feelings were just for Moka.

'But.... why?'

Saber had gone out ahead to secure the ride, that which being her motorcycle. Growing up, one of the modifications to it was the ability the extend seating capacity, mainly for family. With her Riding Skill, it would be short notice before you reached the castle. It also turned out to help as an early warning.

'(F/n), there are adults approaching the school. They are Mizore and Yukari's parents along with Kurumu's mother. The latter of whom is moving quickly.' Saber warned you telepathically.

You grabbed Moka's hand before you descended the stairs to leave.

"Company. Take cover."

With nowhere else to really go, you jumped with the vampire to the ground floor and ducked behind the staircase. The main entrance door soon opened and chatter reached your ears.

"Serves you right."

"Quiet Tsurara!"

"For what? Not having an in-law to have affairs with anymore?"

"If what Kurumu said in our last talk was true, then it's not good at all." Ageha for once sounded serious. "(F/n) needs to be her fiancé."

"Needs to? When did the succubus care so much for family let alone genuine romantic pairing?"

"That's why you don't get us. Yes, we break many hearts, but ours can't be allowed to."

"That's what you call ironic." Yukari's mother remarked. By now, their voices faded.

"That slut doesn't know when to quit. Too bad Kurumu's under her sway." Moka spat.

"Wait. Something's off. Why's she so serious? People get turned down all time. She's acting like Kurumu's life depends on it." You commented while you made your way out with her. A shadow fell over Moka like a dark thought had entered her mind. Did she know something?

"What? What is it?"

"We need to stay focused." Moka insisted. "That succubus is only going to get in the way."

"Which one?" You pressed on. Moka was hiding something.

"I promise I'll explain later. Right now, we need to get my Outer self back. She's in more immediate need." Moka almost pleaded. She obviously knew something. And if it could trouble Moka, then it gave you good reason to be concerned.

You ran with Moka out the door. You heard the motor bike running at idle just outside the gates. When Saber saw you, she pressed a button on the handlebars. With the whirring of machinery, the motorcycle expanding its length, including the seat.

"Note that I also witnessed the bat familiar flying back to the school when he saw me." Saber told the newly arrived couple.

"Kokoa was a given." You dismissed. "Even if she pursued, she's no Rider."
