From that point on, you and the Newspaper Club began making a point of tailing and watching the Security Committee. A number of incidents had been found, from something as trivial as bribery to cruel and unusual beatings for fractions as minimal as truancy. You had carefully used your phone to photograph the evidence. Even so, that was the only thing that really could be done. Testimony could not be obtained as most would not do so out of fear.

In fact, despite Mizore's efforts, that Fan Club trio disappeared before they could testify their own experiences. And to make matters worse, the de facto mafia was on to your group as well. It was not unexpected since you had a run in with one of their members. Even so, you hoped it would not go that way. It came down to one fateful day.

The Security Committee burst into your classroom. At the lead was the head of this group. Kuyo. A senior student, long blonde hair, pointed ears and two dark markings on his forehead. And his expression could quickly be described as malicious.

"Moka Akashiya. Kurumu Kurono. (F/n) (L/n). You are accused of assaulting Keito and several students. You are to be detained for interrogation."

"You mean we're under arrest for self defense." You corrected, standing up from your desk. "Didn't you read the paper?"

The students shifted. Ms. Nekomine shifted. They had read the paper. Keito had not been detained, but there was enough widespread outrage to ostracize the spider woman. No one wanted to be near a being that could enslave or transform them.

"We shall see." Kuyo sneered. "Tsukune Aono will also be arrested as an accessory and under suspicion of being a human. Mizore as an accessory."

At this, the classroom stirred. Whispers were spoken. Most glared at Tsukune, either out of fear or disgust at the notion of him being human. As was commented, many could smell the scent and now we're connecting the dots. Moka and Kurumu both betrayed a slight hint of worry.

Even so, you willingly accompanied them. You could see Yukari and Gin looking on in the hallways. As for right now, the ideal goal would be to force them to let you go from lack of evidence and then out them. But you knew it had a good chance of failing. Mystic Eyes alone would be unsuited to fighting the whole committee, possibly students and teachers.

Eventually, you were taken to the shrine that was the Security Committee's headquarters. Shrine. Long hair. Markings on the forehead. Kuyo was a form of fox spirit. Why else would a shrine be his home turf?

You were taken to the lower levels, presumably to a form of interrogation room. You sat on one end of a table. Kuyo sat on another.

"Trying to save face I see." You said bluntly.

Kuyo chuckled. "Who's going to believe your tabloid?"

"Everyone that were witnesses to what I've written about. You're supposed to be the enforcers. Care to explain why you've allowed assault, molesting, and attempted murder?"

"We are enforcers! You've been shown our videos where others have testified to Tsukune being human." Kuyo insisted. "And something tells me you've been hiding something from even your friends."

"And that would be?"

"We've seen your student file. Mages are merely humans with supernatural ability." Kuyo almost spat.

"Who are still permitted and listed as a viable 'species' to attend on account that we keep to secrecy as well. We're in the same boat as witches." You finished.

"But you're name is otherwise. How can we know you're telling the truth? I had looked into your file, Mage. In the human world, (F/n) (L/n) doesn't exist on any known school." Kuyo insisted.
