Mystic eyes met steel eyes. The new development meant a very quick analysis. Alucard was clearly awake and consuming every monster available throughout the floating isle. The solution to that up till now was pretty obvious: use the Anti Fortress Noble Phantasm to obliterate the place and Alucard with it. But evidently this development was enough to warrant Alaya's attention. Of course it had to send him of all people. Just of course.

"What do you mean it's not?" Moka demanded.

"This is a version of Shirou Emiya who accepted a contract with the Counter Force. He's here to eliminate the threat to humanity. That means killing everyone. All of us. Isn't that right, EMIYA?"

EMIYA said nothing. But the words had an effect nonetheless. You could tell by the fact that his gaze on you intensified, eyes narrowed. Well, calling him out could have that effect on a person. Accounts conflicted on Counter Guardians. Officially, they simply obeyed as little more than automated machines. Unofficially, it was confided in the Grail War that EMIYA clearly remembered every time he carried out his duties. And considering how he just reacted to being identified immediately, he had some autonomy.

"Moka, Kurumu, everyone, get on that plane. Saber will end the threat. This is a family matter." You said, tossing the Contender bag to Moka. He would not be foolish enough to let you use that, rendering it severely limited and unnecessary weight.

"But (F/n)-!" Moka protested, even as she shouldered the bag.

"Do it! You wouldn't stand a chance against him. I will get clear of the isle, but I need to keep EMIYA busy." You said.

"Take heed vampire." EMIYA finally said as his first words. "The boy is giving you a new lease on life."

Something in your head suddenly clicked from that specific word choice. Of course! What was once dismissed as too dangerous just might come in handy in repairing a broken relationship.

"Trace.... on!" You hissed. In your hand, a jagged dagger appeared. You tossed it to Moka. "Use it. Separate Akasha from Alucard. Keeping him in check from the inside is going to be moot in ten minutes."

"How?"

"You know what that is. This is a chance to save everyone, save for Alucard. Go get your mother." The word choice was not lost on Emiya, nor was the projection. It was his specialty. He would be wondering what was up with you.

The other non participants in this fight very reluctantly left. Still, you and EMIYA were in a stand off. The second he projected something, you could counter. Perhaps he was also taking time to analyze this strange teenage boy challenging him. Well, no sense in hiding it.

"Wondering why everything is so familiar? Let's start with name since I identified you. My name is (F/n) Tohsaka Emiya." You declared.

EMIYA visibly shifted. Why he was not attacking as per his job as a Counter Guardian, you could not say. Perhaps Alaya gave some leeway in the methods. Still, psychological warfare was going to be used as much as possible.

"That's right. I'm her son. I'm HIS son. Mom kept an eye on him like she promised."

"So it would seem. Though I see the apple did not fall far from the tree."

"A tree you chose to accept." You reminded him.

"Come now, (F/n). We know my purpose is not animosity. Yet it is still a duty. Rin always had a bad habit of attracting misfortune." EMIYA said. Interestingly enough, his tone was almost apologetic. At least he could disclose that killing his former master's son was not sitting well with him.
