That was not the only class trip that had been planned within the semester. The fortunate part was that this time, there was not any family business to handle. Apparently this field trip was to a ski resort in a nearby mountain range within the normal world. So you were in transit in the bus, seated next to Saber, Tsukune and Outer Moka on the other end. For some reason or another, you frequently caught Kurumu staring at you. Still, you ignored that and yawned.

"You look tired." Saber noted.

"It's been a bit tougher to sleep lately."

"Because of your dreams?"

You nodded. "I know one the side effects of crest is seeing memories, but they're more intense than before. Like I can feel what is happening in that moment. Last night.... I had to spend half an hour calming down from seeing ...... the fire."

Saber gently grasped your shoulder. "It is nothing to be ashamed of. When I do sleep, I too have nightmares."

"Maybe. I just want it to go back to the swords. At least everything's calm there."

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Moka lean over to look at the pair curiously. In fairness, it would be weird to hear about someone dreaming about swords. The rest of the trip up into the mountains continued unabated. Everyone had changed into a skiing outfit which was green suspenders and cream sweatshirt along with a hat. You were the only exception as far as ski goggles went for obvious reasons. The glasses you had were acceptable substitutes.

When the party exited the bus, they found a group of men in women in a kimono uniform.

"Welcome. We hope you enjoy your stay." They bowed, and cast a chilly gust of wind on the group.

"Snow people I presume." You said calmly amidst the outcry.

"Indeed." Approaching from the snow fairies was none other than Tsurara. "A pleasure to see you again (F/n). Everyone. A pity your father could not join you."

"He has business elsewhere." You said. You made a mental note to keep the aforementioned parent away from here the same way Mom kept him away from London when possible to avoid Luvia Edelfelt.

"Regardless, I made a special discount for Yokai Academy. So please enjoy yourselves." Even she said this, she made eye contact with her daughter. There was clearly a hidden meaning between her and Mizore. No doubt they were hoping to do something with Tsukune.

Nevertheless, you got your skis and prepared to go with Saber up the lift when another woman appeared skiing to the students. It was Ruby.

"Hey guys! I'll be your instructor!" The witch greeted everyone.

"Let me guess: It's a long story but you've been assigned to be the instructor and help out wherever you can." You deadpanned.

Ruby gasped. Then her expression became sad. "That was supposed to be my line for this chapter."

"Fine. So what are you doing here?"

"It's a long story, but I've been assigned to be the ski instructor and help out wherever I can." Ruby happily said her line.

"Right. Well I don't think neither me nor Saber need it. Thanks though." You said politely before you and Saber went up the ski lift to the topmost part. Skiing was not too bad for you. It had been part of a family trip during holidays. Saber had no issues whatsoever. Clearly her Riding skill extended to ski's as she could do a triple black diamond run like it was bunny hill. Needless to say, it was fun race down the slope, the two of you making a stop at the midway point where you saw Tsukune and Moka.

"Wow. I didn't know you could ski." Tsukune said.

"Thanks for the compliment. I see you two were going to do the whole name thing again." You said.
