Next Day

Bleu slept all night and didn't make one sound. I barely slept because I wanted to make sure she was okay and breathing. August laid with me all night. I'm upset me and Bleu are going home without August. He has been holding her all morning because he's upset he can't leave either. I put on my clothes that Kaila brought me from home. I put my hair in a messy bun then took out Bleu's clothes. "Can you dress her for me?" I asked August. He nodded without taking his eyes off Bleu. I smiled and packed her bag up.

I put all my stuff in my bag too and sat everything by the door. August got her dressed "Look at daddy's princess." he said then kissed her. "Did you go shopping for a car seat?" August said. "I did some online shopping while you were sleep for the stuff I actually want for her room. I'm going to buy some temporary stuff to get us by until the other stuff get here." I said sitting down on the bed. "We weren't prepared for you." August said to Bleu. "At all." I said.

Kaila walked in with a Blue car seat "I brought this cause I thought it would be cute for my car when you get the car seat for your car." she said. I smiled "It is cute." I said. "I'm not ready to let her go." August said holding her. I laughed "We will come back. I just need to go home and shower. And give this little one a nice bath too." I said taking her from August. He kissed her all over her face and then kissed my forehead "I love both of you so much." he said. I smiled "We love you too." I said.

"Take care of our kids." he said with a worried look in his eye. "August what are you not telling me?" I said. "Let me take her." Kaila said taking Bleu out my arms and put her in the car seat. "Listen, because I wanted to be here for you while you gave birth and after to see the baby. I pushed the surgery back an-" he started coughing up blood. "AUGUST." I SEMI-YELLED. He fell to the ground and started having a seizure. "Kaila go get a doctor." I said.

"Bleu not strapped in." she said. I got up "I got her. GO." I strapped her in and move the car seat on the bed. I went back to August and flipped him on his side. The doctor and two nurses came running in "Just back up and give them some space." One nurse said grabbing me. I went next to Bleu and tears just started falling down my face. "We need to clear the room please." the doctor said. Kaila grabbed the bags and I grabbed the car seat.

We walked out the room and down the hall. "I have to call his mom so she here with him." I said. "She in the car." Kaila said. I nodded and we walked out to the car. I put Bleu in the backseat and strapped the car seat in. Ms. Sheila was on the phone. I went to the passenger door and open it "What happen?" she asked me because I was crying. "He started throwing up blood then had a seizure. I didn't know what to do but roll him over on his side. They made me leave the room." I said.

She got out "Kaila take your sister home and I'll go check on August." Ms. Shelia said. I got in the backseat with Bleu "Please call me and tell me what's going on." I said. "I promise." she said and we pulled off to the house. When we pulled up there was cars in my driveway "What's going on?" I said. Kaila smiled "You'll see." she said. We got out and she grabbed the bags. I grabbed the car seat and we walked in "Surprise." they all whispered.

I laughed "Thank you guys." I said. "Where's August?" Kelly asked. "Um... he had a seizure so he had to stay at the hospital." I said trying not to cry. "Aww I'm sorry. He's going to be okay tho right?" Kelly asked. "Kelly shut the hell up. Clearly she hurt because of it." Cardi said. I laughed "He will be fine. But I really missed you guys." I said. "We miss you too. Now let me see baby Bleu." Saweetie said. I laughed and sat the car seat on the counter.

They all look around her "She is so tiny." Saweetie said. "She looks just like her mama." Cardi said. "God mommy's baby." Kelly said. "Watch this." I said getting in front of them. "Hi Mama's babygirl." I said playing with her little fingers. She started smiling showing off her dimples "Oh my god her dimples are really deep." Cardi said. "She is too cute." Saweetie said. "Since she been out I been holding her and not wanting to put her down." I said.

"You going to spoil her." my abuela said. "That's fine. I want her to be a momma's girl." I said. "You say that until you can't go party because all she wants is her mother." Cardi said. I laughed "I'm not playing. Kulture was always up my butt but now she a daddy's girl so he can't go no where." Cardi said. The door opened and in walked Ms. Shelia.

I looked at her nervously "He's okay. They got him in surgery to close up the bullet hole and he just has to take it easy until it heals. Meaning no heavy lifting, he has to sit down holding the baby and he can lift his arms above his waist. This is some of the requirements for him if he wants to come home and do the healing process here instead of the hospital." she said. "That's good." I said relived. "They going to call me once he done to go get him." she said.

I nodded "I'm going to have my whole family together." I said smiling. Bleu started crying "Aww mama I'm right here." I said taking her out the car seat. She started sucking her lips "Somebody's hungry." I said. I grabbed the blanket and put it over her head and my shoulder. I whipped out the boob and gave it to her. We all talked and made small talk. AJ was with Kelly all night. She was really enjoying him and then I had a thought but I needed to talk to August first.
