After we watched the balloons fly away we went back to the house. Everyone went to their rooms. August followed me into mines "Hey so when were you going back to Cali?" August asked me. "We going to talk to my dad first and then we'll decide when we leaving." I said taking my shoes off. "Okay." he said. I looked at him "August if you have to leave you can. You were here for me long enough and you were here for the most important part. Business comes first I understand." I said. "Business comes first before anybody else but you come before business. I got to make sure your good first before I think about making a business move." he said. I walked over to him on the bed and stood between his legs "August I'm fine. If you need to go, just go. I'll be wait for you back in Cali." I said smiling. He looked at me "You sure?" He said. "Yes, thank you so much for being here and helping me through this. But now it's time for you to get back to business. I'm not going no where." I said. He kissed me "I'll only be gone for 5 days then I'll meet you back in Cali." He said. I smiled "Alright let me change and get comfortable." I said going to my closet.

I took my dress off and change into black adidas joggers with a white shirt and black shoes. I put my hair in a ponytail and walked back into my room. August changed into basketball shorts and a black shirt. He was laying on the bed. I went and laid next to him "So when you leaving and where you going?" i asked. "I'm leaving in the morning to go back to New York. I got to finish this new music with a couple of artist." he said. "Oh okay. That's good you putting out new music." I said. "Yeah." he said. Chris came in my room "Lo we need to talk to dad." he said standing in the door way. I got up "Alright" I said following him to the kitchen. Kaila, my grandparents and dad was sitting at the kitchen table. Me and Chris sat down "What is this about?" my dad asked. "We just going to get straight to it. We want you to move to Cali with us. We don't want you here by yourself." Chris said. "I'll be fine. I'm not leaving this house." he said.

"Your not going to lost the house. I paid it off so it's yours so you can always come back when feeling homesick but we want to be able to spend more time with you and we can't do that if you living here." Chris said. "But nobody going to be here to clean it or anything. No." dad said. "We will move here to keep it clean." my abuela said. He looked around " Let me sleep on it." he said. We nodded "We support whatever decision you make. We just really want you to move to Cali with us." I said. He got up and kissed my forehead "I know mija. I'll let yall know in the morning what I decided." He said and walked to his room. "What you think he going to do?" Kaila asked. "I don't know but the fact that he is giving it thought is good because I thought he would straight up say no and keep saying no." I said. "Same" Chris said. "Well I'm going to take a nap. My head is killing me from crying."I said getting up. "Alright mija." my abuela said.

I went back in the room and August was sleep. I take a picture and he woke up "Why you always taking pictures of me."He said trying to grab my phone. I laughed "Cause you look so peaceful." I said laying next to him. He grabbed his phone and unlocked it "What you doing?" I asked. He went to his camera roll and went to a picture of me sleep on his chest "I got you too." he said smiling. I smiled "That's actually cute." I said. He went to Instagram and posted it. He captioned it "my baby, my baby, my baby." I smiled and kissed him. He pulled me closer to him and just looked at me. We stared at each other for a little bit then he came out and said "I love you." he said. I was shocked by his words "I know it's too soon but ever since the beach my feelings towards you grew stronger and I been wanted to say it but I'm saying it now. It's okay if you don't feel the same way but-" I cut him off. "I love you too." I said and he smiled. He kissed me "I didn't know if you were going to feel the same way but I needed to tell you."he said. "Well now you know." I said. I kissed him again and laid my head on his chest. I just laid there listening to his heartbeat while he plays with my ponytail as we both slowly fall asleep.

Next Morning

I feel someone kissing my face and I open my eyes to August smiling "What are you doing?" I said in my half sleep voice. "I have to go and I just want to wake you up before I leave." He said. "okay." I said and get up. "Where you going?" he asked. "Walking you to the door." I said. "Oh."he said and grabbed his bag. I follow him to the door. Nobody was awake yet. I opened the door "I'll see you in a couple days."He said walking out the door. "Okay, call me when you get there." I said. He turned around and kissed me "I love you baby." he said against my lips. "I love you too Auggie Poo." I said. He smiled at what I called him. I watched him walk to the car and get in. I closed the door. I jumped at the sound of Kaila's voice "Did I just hear yall tell each other I love you." she said. "girl you scared me." I said walking back to my room.

She started following me "So yall already at love you." she said. "He said it to me last night. I been wanting to say it too but I was waiting for him. But you making it seem like he asking me to marry him." I said getting back in bed. She got on the other side "But its only been like 2 weeks or so." Kaila said. "Well this is the way I feel. I can't control it." I said closing my eyes. "I ship yall. I just don't want you to get hurt. Singers, Football players and Basketball players are the biggest thirst traps. Hoes be coming from left and right. I don't want him to be in the moment and forget about you and then that one moment fucks you up. That's all I'm saying yall moving a little to fast." she said. I didn't say anything cause I know she right but I can't ever admit when someone is right. I slowly go back to sleep.
