Next Morning ☀️
I woke up to smelling bacon. I looked over and August was watching tv but still had one arm wrapped around me. I kissed his cheek "Good morning." I said. He looked at me and smiled "Good morning." He said. I got up and brushed my teeth. I walked out my room. I saw my abuelo sitting on the couch "Papi Hi." I said hugging him. "Hi Mija." He said hugging me back. "Oh my Love is here too." My abuela said coming out the kitchen. "Hi Abuela." I said walking to her. I gave her a hug "I got all my babies together." she said. I gave a half smile "oh mija." She said realizing she missing one of her babies. My Mom. "It's fine. I can't even cry anymore." I said. Chris and Kaila came from they're rooms to the kitchen. We all sat at the table "So I was thinking moving Dad to Cali with us. He doesn't need to be here by himself." Chris said. "I was thinking the same thing. I don't want him out here. But he's not going to let the house go." I said.

"Abuela said her and Abuelo could move in here so he still has the place." Kaila said. "We have to talk to him." I said. They nodded. August came and sat down next to me " So who is this?" My abuela said smiling. I smiled "This is August. August this is my abuela Lourdes." I said.  He looked at me "I got my name from her. My mom loved my abuela's name so much she said her first girl she would name her Lourdes." I said. "Nice to meet you." He said putting his hand out. My abuela looked at his hand " Boy if you don't get up and hug me." she said. He laughed and got up and hugged her. "But who is he to you?" she said giving me a look. "My boyfriend." I said. "Mhm okay. Just take care of my baby and we'll be good." She said and then walked over to the stove. We just sat at the table till she finished breakfast then we all made our plates and talked while we ate. The rest of the day we all just chilled.

Next Day- Mom's Ceremony
I woke up and took a shower. I dried myself off and put on lotion. I put on a bra and panties. I did my makeup and made sure it was waterproof. I straighten my hair and put half up, half down. I went to my closet and put on my outfit (media). I walked into my room and August was putting on his shoes. He looked up at me "Goddamn you look so beautiful." he said. I started blushing "Thank you August." I said. He got up "I got you today okay." he said. "Thank you for being here. I really appreciate it." I said. He smiled "Of course anything for my baby." He said and I smiled. Chris came in the room "Ya'll ready?" he asked. I nodded "Ight we ready to go."he said walking out.

I grabbed my black tinted sunglass and put them on. Then me and August followed Chris. We all walked out the house and got in a limo. The whole ride to where we was going was silent. When we arrived everyone got out. We were at my mom's favorite park with a waterfront. We walked over to the waterfront "Today we are here to celebrate the life of Nessa Lopez. She was the love of my life, my bestfriend, my ride or die and the mother of my children. She was very special in every way. She always knew how to brighten your day if you were down. She always knew how to make you smile. Even when she knew she was dying and knew there was nothing anyone could do she still had a smile on her face. But before she died she went online shopping and brought something for each one of her kids. She also wrote letters for ya'll to read before opening the gift." My dad said.

He gave me, Chris and Kaila letters "Who wants to go first?". "I'll go." Chris said. He opened his letter " To my only boy, The day I found out I was pregnant will you was one of the best days of my life. I was young when I had you and your dad wasn't in the picture but I knew I could do it. As you grew up I saw a lot of my father in you. I knew who ever was the lucky lady to have your kids and marry you would be one of the most luckiest women alive. I'm sad I wouldn't be here to see your 1st child be born but I'll be watching from above. I know you going to be an amazing father to what I think is a baby girl. Keep doing your music, keep being the amazing person and big brother you are. Take care of Lourdes, Kaila and your father for me. I love you my babyboy. Love Mommy." Chris read from the paper. Tear after tear fall down my face. " Here's what she got you." Dad said giving Chris his gift.

Chris opened it and it was a baby outfit that had writing on it which said "Grandma's Baby". Also a necklace that says "CB" in red. Chris put it back in the bag and just stayed quiet. He hasn't cried since he found out. "I'll go." Kaila said. She opened her letter " To my Baby Kaila, I'm glad I was here to see you turn 18 and graduate from high school. I wish I was here to see much more but it's okay just know I'm always watching. I'm watching you right now while your reading this." she takes a paused cause her voice starts to crack. Tears fall down her face " You're growing up to be an wonderful, strong, beautiful women. Keep making me proud babygirl. Focus on your dreams and I promise you will get there. The day you achieve it just look up and tell me that you did it. I love you babygirl. Love your White Chocolate." Kaila finishes reading from the paper. "I miss you mommy." She said looking up. "Please always stay by my side." She says as more tears fall. Chris pulls her into a hug. Dad gives Kaila her gift. Its a necklace that says White Chocolate. She smiles but cried more. "I guess its my turn." I say opening my letter.

I take a deep breath before starting to read. "To my Lourdes Love, I couldn't wait for the day I was pregnant cause I wanted a baby girl. When I founded out Chris was a boy I was really upset because I wanted a girl but also happy because I was told I wouldn't be able to have kids. Once I was able to say my mom's name I always said that's what I'm going to name my first daughter. I also always said when I have a daughter I wanted to be her bestfriend. I wanted her to be able to come to be about whatever no matter how bad it was. And you did. I knew everything about you. I know you are blaming yourself because Kevin would never let you come to see me or talk to me much but I don't want you blaming yourself okay. It's not your fault, it's his but I want you to forgive him cause grudges cause a lot of stress and pain for years and you wouldn't be happy. I was really sad when you lost your baby cause I know how much you would talk about a baby. But I promise you you'll have another chance and I'm going to be right there when you find out, when you see the baby for the first time and give birth. You're sister told me a little about this August person. I really hope it works out and he is the one for you cause I know that's all you want some who will treat you like the Queen you are. And tell August I'm watching him to he better treat you right. I love you Mija. Love Your Bestfriend." I read off the paper.

My legs started feeling weak but August catches me "You good?" he asks holding me up. "Yeah." I said getting my balance. My dad hands me my gift. Its a frame with a picture of her holding me when I was first born. Then there's a empty picture for me and my son or daughter. Also with a heart locked with a picture of us the last time I saw her. I cried more and just hugged August. "Nessa we very sad to see you leave us so soon but thank you so much for leaving me with 3 amazing kids that has you inside of them. We love and miss you. Keep watching over us." My dad said. My Abuela gave everyone a ballon "On 3 we'll let them go." My abuela said. "1,2,3." She counted. We let the balloons go "We love you mommy." Me, Chris and Kaila said in unison. I held on to August as we all watch the balloons go.
