Lily's POV
Clara enters the Tardis, Danny at her side.
"So you did it then," I say slightly surprised.
She nods, her hand clinging tightly to Danny's. Of course. He just died. How could she ever let go of him again?
The Tardis suddenly jostles oddly.
The Doctor checks the Tardis console and his face turns grim.
"What the hell is happening?" Clara yells.
He looks at Clara sadly. "Im so sorry."
"What?" She says frantically.
"The Tardis doesn't like it. Two people in a relationship from different timelines... I'm so sorry Clara. Shes going to- in essence, throw him out."
"Huh?"
"She'll kill him." He says hesitantly.
Clara hugs Danny protectively. "I wont let her."
"The Tardis doesn't like it and you can't change her mind."
Clara jumps up and down on the floor, trying to inflict pain on the Tardis. "No! I hate you stupid snogbox! Let him live!" She slides to the ground, pounding on the floor angrily.
Danny places a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Clara... I think it is meant to be like this. We all have our time to go. This is mine."
Clara stands up again. "No its not! I know it's not! You've got a whole lifetime ahead of you!"
Danny smiles sadly. "I have to, Clara." He kisses her softly, wiping the tears off her face. "I love you."
Then he pulls back and stands away from us. "Come on, then, Tardis! Take me! That's what you want, eh?"
A flash of blinding light and he's gone. Disappeared. Clara runs to the spot where he was standing, but nothing remains.
Except for a small piece of paper that has obviously been handled a lot that sits on the ground.
Clara picks it up with a trembling hand, tears sliding down her cheeks, smearing her makeup.
Poor Clara. She's lost him twice...
