Kate's POV
Everyone turns to look for Rory, but Amy is right- he's gone.
Amy's brown eyes widen. "Rory..."
The Doctor hugs Amy. "Don't worry. We're finding Rory and Danny today. I swear."
I grab hold of Evie's hand. "I'm not letting go of you till we're out of this place."
She wraps her fingers around my hand and squeezes it tightly. "I'm not leaving you, Kate. Don't worry." She kisses me gently.
"Whoa! No PDA! Come on guys- I mean girls- now now. This place is not good."
I slap the Doctor's arm, hard enough for it to sting. "Shut up."
He sighs and pulls out a metal stick with a green light up ball at the tip.
"What's that?" I ask.
He doesn't respond. Instead, Clara does. "Sonicscrewdriver. Unlocks most doors except wood, and when he scans things, he gets information on it."
"Um okay.... Cool."
Evie's beautiful blue eyes lock with my brown ones, and she pulls me into a hug. "Don't die, babe."
"I won't," I mumble into her shoulder (she's slightly taller than me).
I breathe in the scent of her sea salt perfume she always wears. I love it.
No.
I love her.
